These would only be needed for Agility and Dexterity as the other stats are static.

    My Suggestion
Some may remember before the gavel update, you would see slime particles whenever agility was successful. However, since then you're always left wondering whether it was your agility doing it's magic or the sweet glorious lag saving you from that mob's attack.
Make agility give off white particles when successful OR give the enderdragon wing flap noise OR have it say in chat *Agility was successful!* or something along those lines.

Dexterity however, you can SEE whether your damage doubles if you optifine zoom into the lore damage above or something, otherwise it's hard to tell honestly...
Give Dexterity the vanilla bow DING whenever it is successful OR have it say in chat "Double damage!"
I think this is just one of those tiny things that everyone would appreciate (Me especially as an archer)

Just like to say that that's just a server addition and isn't actually vanilla as far as I know.

This idea is wonderful but please don't make it say anything in chat though. Sounds/particles are plenty. If you've played Hypixel Warlords you know how it feels to get a chat message every time you hit somebody or get hit...

The chat would be able to be toggled on and off, maybe there are people that are deaf or don't wear headphones that might find it useful.

    Poll please.

I think there should be Particles on a dodge/crit, and some text in your chat. The text should have a toggle though.

Good idea, but server is too laggy right now, this would make it even worse.

Yeah... tell me about it v.v Server crashed and I lost my blue mask #NoWarningNoHonor

I imagine that if it was just simply sound or text it wouldn't be too intensive, particles could be a problem especially with optifine players that have it toggled off.

    Minecraft:
Server lag costed me 8 items:
7 rare and legendary pieces of armor (I was putting them into item identifier GUI and then server crashed while they were inside)
1 Maelstrom bow (I dropped it on floor accidentally and serevr crashed second after)
    ________________________________
Oh yeah, and forgot to mention million times dying because of lag (Server would crash in the middle of enemy horde attacking me, when I respawned = RIP) or when I was about to cast spell to kill all enemies, but lag didn't let me so instead mobs killed me.

It would be nice to have some sort of visual feedback.

However any chat based or sound feed back would be ... well undesirable. Im thinking mainly of multihit and arrow storm here.

Yes, I imagine those with high dexterity would be a bit annoyed when they get
    "Double Damage!"
    "Double Damage!"
    "Double Damage!"
    "Double Damage!"
    "Double Damage!"
every time they do a spell. The visual feedback would be nice, though. I like the idea of cloud particles when you dodge, and perhaps critical hits could use the blue crit particles.

There is! Hitting an enemy with a crit causes it to expel white particles alone with the usual 'blood', like bones breaking. Dodging an attack with agility causes a shower of green particles to appear at your feet.

Or at least, they did before the update. I'm not using any builds based around dex/agi, so if they were removed, I haven't noticed.

Even if there are some kind of particles, it's too hard to notice them. We need something obvious. so even new players can understand.
I suggest changing your weapon name on critical hit (like they did with casting spells - they change your weapon's name to "right-left-left" (for example)).

They were there before the update. However, afterwards I haven't seen them. They might have been cut out due to lag, in which case the Sound,Text or what Lotem just suggested would be viable.
