World Buff Mage

I dont know about you but i am a mage and its the WEAKEST class. So, i went to ahmsord because my friend told me it finally got a region,
And i saw the weapon merchant and look at the difference between these two weapons.

Do you see the HUGE difference? Same class Same level only the bow has very slow attack speed and the wand slow but that dosn't allow it to have 500 more dmg

Either buff mage or nerf archer

This is my first suggestion so don't expect it to be fancy

 

Since when is a class it's strenght based on the amount of (neutral) damage it has?!

People really need to stop thinking this way...

 

Well, they aren't the same class first of all
Second of all, the slower the weapon, the higher the damage
Third of all, Archer is supposed to do way more damage than Mage
Last of all, Mage is in need of no buff. It's already the single most OP class

 

@kingmike99 has a point, nuetral damage aside, elements can do more damage, and thats just one wand in particular, other wands maybe deal more powerful then that, next time look at more than one thing

 

The play styles are different. BTW mage received a HUGE buff with Gavel. Archer is for dishing damage, Mage is support. (I play mage) I feel like what makes Mage SUPER good is its heal.

Well mage is the weakest despite its heal, in boss groups or whatnot

I was in a boss group and we did amadel and we killed him 9 or 8 times
And all the mages didnt get the corrupted heart or whats it called

I see your point tho it has heal but What is the strongest wand? Mage is weak in terms of dmg.

 

Mages are actually extremely overpowered, both for solo-ing and for teams, cause of heal. Also, those aren't exactly the type of weapons you want to be using either, as they are very weak weapons. Because they have no elemental damage and no identifications either. With the new update, I have found that mage is definitely the best class hands down, mainly cause of the heal spell and how health regen and life steal were basically nerfed.

The second reason why you don't want to use these as examples is that Mage can also easily inflict tons of damage with meteor and a good amount of strength and intelligence he can spam the meteor spell. Just add a good earth and water wand and you are set.

I use Olux's Prized Wand, im a much lower level than of that required for those specific wand and bow though. Mainly cause it has a good amount of both Water and Earth damage, and I specialize in those subclasses.

No one class is more OP than the others, It all depends on your playstyle and how you want to play your class. Neutral damage or a consistent 15 points in every category is not the best strategy.

the other point is spells. The spells are super strong compared to the damage. I have done like 20 damage with normal hit and like 200 damage with a spell

 

Currently, mage is widely considered the "best" and "strongest" class, because of their heal.
Also, is the only argument you have the weapon-damage?

 

as a mage, the majority of your damage doesn't come from the melee damage, it's usually meteor

 

1. The reason the Archer has such high damage is that it is a High Range, High Damage, Low Defence class. It can barely take any hits that a Mage would survive. As well as that, the Archer is on the lower end of the attack speed spectrum, while Mage sits in the middle.
   
2. The Mage is extremely powerful, not only element wise, but healing wise. The Mage is the only class to have a spell that acts as a free super health potion (clearing effects including fire, which Assassin only has a part of).
3. Neutral Damage and Normal Weapons aren't meant to be used too much. In the new system, you're meant to pick an element. Elemental damage does bonus damage alongside Neutral, and is boosted by your skill points.
   
4. You're comparing 2 "End Game" neutral weapons, when in a lot of cases, the damages change as each class progresses. Also, with Elements, some weapons have much greater or lesser damage, but fit with the Element Subclass. If you want to get the most damage possible, use Earth weapons.

The archer is supposed to have very high weapon damage but the defense of a wet paper towel. Mage is a specialist class that's not supposed to tank, not supposed to deal high damage, just to survive as long as possible. Heal makes a good show of that. And so does the fact that although the Mage does little damage, each hit has a little area of effect- You don't even need a direct hit to hit something, unlike the other classes- Including archer. Mage's biggest ability is that to outlast and massive spell damage.

Well, no class can solo bob currently :3

 

Yeah isn't it boring to go alone in a bossfight ? I guess Its Good that you can't solo those bosses . Because fighting in a group is More fun (for me :o)

But if I had to choose 1 class that might be able to eventually, it would be Mage. They are the only class with heal, done deal.

 

Here we go...

If you think maybe is weak now, not only is that just not true, Mage was absolute trash before Gavel.

Now?

Now you're talking about a class that is nearly unkilliable as you heal for almost 10K, deal stupid amounts of elemental damage (almost 4-7k, with certain builds it can reach over 10k) per meteor, and provides the only reliable method to sustain against bosses.

I fail to see how it is weak.
