World Model Swappin'!

Hey, this is Khy_, I have a quick suggestion on something that I've been thinking about since Gavel's release.

Armor/Weaponsmith!

The armor/weaponsmiths would be placed in main cities, similarly to item identifiers and LE merchants (cities like Detlas, Cinfras, Ahmsord, etc.). These smiths would allow you to, at a hefty price, swap models between two identified weapons, while keeping their stats. The reason I suggest this is because, well, more customization! That, and there are plenty of bow/wand models I would like to put on my legendary weapons, because they look better. This would also work the same for armor. I heard someone on Wynn say that this was already planned, and that it would be in Gavel update 5. If it is already in the works, let me know Salted, and I'll take this down :D. I don't know exactly what the prices would be for swapping models, but since it's purely cosmetic, I would like it to be something that can be done by the time you get to Detlas, just like the emerald merchants.

Cool idea, but it sounds a bit too much like Hypixel Warlords.

 

I didn't know they had changeable models...

 

The Weaponsmith has an option to switch your weapon's texture to something different, some of which are only accessed in that way.

 

Sounds cool! but the skins are based on the element of the weapon, so what would happen if you wanted a water wand but it was fire element?

 

I like the randomness. I feel it adds to the "soul" of the weapon salted was talking about

 

The models are picked according to the elements of the weapon.
I prefer the current system

Plus, weapons' Level 100 models look super powerful and awesome (For example, Fire Daggers are simply a giant blast of fire coming out of the hilt of the blade).

 

I voted meh. It'd be kinda cool, but I think it would be a sink for devs time that does not add much content-wise.
