Making The Server Texture Pack Downloadable

My friend has some serious problems with downloading the texture pack on the server. He's enabled the "server texture packs" on wynncraft, but it simply doesn't finish downloading. It goes into install, and suddenly stops. I'm pretty sure being able to install it by placing it directly into your folder would help. Oh yes and it would give people the possibility of not downloading the pack every time they enter a new world.

I mean it's not like doing this would hurt.

 

I believe this is already possible, what I did was copy the pack from the server resource packs file (its named "legacy" in the files) put it in the resource pack file, and put ".zip" in front of it.

I hope I don't get banned for that........

 

And how did you access the server resource packs files?

 

go to your .minecraft file, and you'll see the file where all the server resource packs you've downloaded are at...

Except doing this COULD hurt, because the devs clearly spent a lot of hard work into making it, but a downloadable link could allow other servers to steal it.

Honestly, I was surprised to see how refined and well textured the resourcepack was, it's as if they commissioned an expert resourcepack creator(did they?).

Eh, I have too much respect towards the Wynncraft devs to download the wynnpack(Not to mention that even if I did, I would have to retexture the 80 block textures that were replaced with weapon models...).

 

No offense to the modelers, but your models suck. Now the reason why this isn't offense is because it's not there fault they suck. They would've been better off modeling it in 32x32 not 16x16. Sadly i wasn't around when they made it as I have my own modeling team there's like 11-12 of us. 11-12 as in we may be adding another person lol

 

You should have more respect to the modeling team of this server, they worked hard on this. btw saying no offense doesn't change anything .-.

 

It's kinda true, atleast there better then the minestrike models. I just think it could be a lot better in 32x32 but that's just my opinion

 

You need to download it in order to use it ._.

 

I mean downloading it through your minecraft server resource pack files. Not downloading it through the server
