World You Know How In Gm No Mazes? Well, Read This.

    In the GM thread, info, Grian told us to not put mazes *still not a official GM, only just submitted a application* anyways, when grian said, mazes are like.... my version, mazes are like cancer, not actually, all you need to do is spend some time, kinda just stick to the right wall, and you'll eventually be there, i've never tried left, but... it's kinda the same logic... so yea, Mazes are easy when you know that, but the method i'm telling you, takes a lot more time than just randomly solo'ing it

    Mazes are honestly just a matter of randomly picking the path you think is right, and trying to remember which paths are a dead end. It's just an annoying waste of time with no real challenge, it's just randomness.

    The reason the public GM doc says
    Is because a maze is like turning off the lights, spinning around in a circle for 10 minutes and hoping to find the door. You have no bearings of where you are and it gets repetitive, using no skill

    You're not really meant to though, like how a maze you could climb the walls.

    Well you've got me there... then again it's still a somewhat guided maze given all the maps and landmarks.

    I have the map and it doesn't help at all tbh. For the "The Lost" quest, I stumbled on it by mistake and had to make my way back to the NPC after realising I had all the quest letters in my inventory and was making me ocd so I had to do it, I found all the red flags quite easily actually since they were quite high up and in a close area, but I can't say for others. The "Fallen Delivery" quest starter was at the start of the canyon took me 20mins to find it after the cords in the quest book made it look like I had to go up a mountain, but really go around it. The quest about the guy that was controlled by the wizard took about 20mins to find and the wizard tower took an additional 15mins despite heading west to find dead ends. For "Cowfusion" the quest starter took me and a friend a solid 30 mins to find after getting genuinely lost inside the canyon. FINALLY, the last quest I believe with a quest starter in the canyons was "Beyond the Grave" the air temple was in the middle of the canyon I saw on the website map, I just said screw it and instaleld a waypoint mod and found it and used it to find the monster cave I had to investigate, because I had enough of the confusing layout of the canyon. Every single quest I did with exception to fallen delivery obviously I used a Cinfras scroll to escape that canyon because it would take 15mins for me to find a way out or accidentally walk to molten peaks or asthmord and die.

    TL;DR : Please, please, please put signs and arrows pointing to where the major places are it is painful how hard it is inside to find your way around.
