Right now when you look at skillpoints in your character menu it looks like this: Screen Shot 2015-12-31 at 11.17.31 AM.png

The only information about how my Dexterity Skill was modified is just telling me it's modified! If I want to have a specific build I need to look at the Character ID icon in the character menu. Even this doesn't tell me which armor pieces affect my skill points.

Because this can be kind of annoying, I came up with an idea to allow you to better see your skillpoints and the total skillpoint breakdown. Here is what the character menu would look like: Screen Shot 2015-12-31 at 11.29.36 AM.png

The bookshelves represent the total value of that stat and the books represent the skillpoints invested in that stat. When you hover over the bookshelf, (total Agility in this case) it would look like this: Screen Shot 2016-01-03 at 1.18.31 PM.png

Also, because the books show the number of skillpoints in that category instead of the stat value a small change would need to be made to the book GUI:
    Screen Shot 2016-01-03 at 1.21.18 PM.png

With this idea you can clearly see the breakdown of what contributes to the Agility skill. The books are useful for making a build since you can see the skillpoints you invested in each stat and the bookshelves are useful for picking out weapons, armor, and accessories.

One other idea that I thought of but may not be as good, is getting rid of the bookshelves and making the books display the stat breakdown. However, this would cause the books to have A LOT of text and could be overwhelming to read.

I hope you liked this idea. If anyone has a suggestions about it, please comment what your idea is and I will add it.

It's really frustrating to have to remove all the affecting pieces of armour / accessories to find out my true skill point values; and this seems like something that should be a thing already.

Doesn't seem too tough to add, and while it certainly wouldn't be the most necessary thing, it certainly seems like a pretty big convenience.
