World Quest: Gold Rush

Before level 87:
Xeirel(1/1): Ah! You scared me! Don't you know not to sneak up on people! Now go, your obviously not strong enough for the job I have, or polite enough. *Smirks

At level 87+
Xierel(1/7): Oh! Hello there?
Xierel(2/7): An adventure of Wynn you say? Oh yes, I see it in you, that smelly province.
Xierel(3/7): I've heard rumors of a place called Rymek, they say it has an abundance of gold, are these rumors true?
Xierel(4/7): Yes? Good. I heard it is also a high currency for thieves and smugglers on the black market.
Xierel(5/7: I surely have no time for illegal business, but I do know of some Llevingar citizens who would bargain high for some genuine Wynnic gold.
Xierel(6/7): I heard of a abandoned mine north of Rymek at X: 1481 Z: -1475, and no one knows why it was abandoned...
Xierel(7/7): Get me a fine set of ten gold bars, that should do a fortune on the Llevingar market. Now go!

Go to 1481 -1475 Up on the rim of the mesa biome
There will be a cave entrance with coal blocks, if you try to enter without starting the quest, it will say:
Cold air rushes out, and you hear a loud rumbling from inside the cave.

The cave will look like a normal mine except gold will be everywhere, once you pick up ten gold bars it will say: You here a loud rumbling, and as you turn around, you see the exit is blocked.

If you continue further into the cave there will be some easy parkour, and a few Stone Golems and then you see another coal block cave entrance, and if you go through you are teleported into a small cage of iron bars.

???(1/?): Fool! You dare disturb my cave?
???(2/?): You are stuck now, and will never escape
???(3/?): I assume you were looking for gold?
???(4/?): Well good. I'll take that if you don't mind. *Chuckles.
(Any gold in your inventory is gone now)
???(5/?): I am the cave spirit! *Manacle Laughs

You suddenly notice a weak point in the iron cage, maybe if you hit it enough it will break.

The weak point is a un-moving set of iron bars with 15k health, and when you kill it the whole cage will break.

You can now walk around the cave, gold ore covers some of the circular walls otherwise it is mainly
stone and dirt. There are a bunch of Stone Golems that will attack you.

Cave Spirit (1/1): No! You broke my cage! Ha! it doesn't matter! I'm Immortal..!

There is an exit, but if you try to go into it, it says: You don't now where this leads to, and you don't have your gold, you should stay back.


8 eyes of ender, called Cave Eyes (stats at bottom), spawn around the room. Each time you kill one, one of three monologues appear:
Cave Spirit (1/1): Ouch!
Cave Spirit (1/1): My Eyes!
Cave Spirit (1/1): The Pain!

Once all the Cave Eyes are dead. An Iron Golem, called Cave Spirit, will spawn.
He is unkillable because of his insane health and regen, and he will chase after you.

Run through the exit now, or else he kills you.
You must run through the exit, which now lets you through, and your teleported onto a ledge of a huge cave, there is some parkour above coal blocks and if you fall you are teleported into the previous room.
you have to do the parkour while the Cave Spirit, chases after you.

If you succeed the Cave Spirit falls into the pit and says:
Cave Spirit (1/1): Congrats hero, you have won.

You are then teleported to the top of a mountain, if you look down you see Xeirel
Talk to him again and he says
Xeirel (1/4): Oh goody! Your here! Did you bring the gold? No?! After all that time!
Xeirel (2/4): Well you get none of my useless emeralds tha...
The mountain erupts in a shower of gold.. and it flies everywhere covering the landscape.
Xeirel (3/4): I'm Rich! I'm Rich!
Xeirel (4/4): Here, Take all the emeralds I own! I'm Rich!

But you should push more motive behind the quest, I don't see why he wants a mysterious metal that no one really uses as currency. Make his motive more like...

[2/7] Xierel: But anyways, you've been to that place called Rymek, right?
[3/7] Xierel: I've heard that they've got a very special type of ore there... Gold, it's called. Used as an underworld currency for smugglers and thieves.
[4/7] Xierel: I've heard it's very shiny, and I like the sound of it.
[5/7] Xierel: Imagine their faces when they hear about my genuine Wynnic gold!
[6/7] Xierel: I know some higher-class villagers who could pay big money for a foreign import like this!
[7/7] Xierel: All I need for now is a quick import of 10 bars. I researched all the ancient texts of the mining areas. There's a mine almost overflowing with gold at 1481 (y coordinate) -1475. Off you pop!

Bumpity Bump!
Because is has to be at least ten characters.

 

I don't feel like being level 87 and exploring Gavel, then having to come back all the way back to wynn and do a quest that will be in an area for lower levels.
If a lower level person were to accidently wander into the area where the quest takes place and gets one shoted, that would really suck.
Rymek also isn't that big of a city, it has no bank, no identifiers and it's a bit small to really wanna come back to that boring place.

 

I like the quest, but from what I know, anyone would try to kill the spirit before escaping, and neither of the escape route's requirements are achived. (You don't have your gold and you don't know where it leads to) so why would someone's first thought be to go there? Also, I think you MIGHT be overestimating what the Content Team can do, because I don't know if they can make gold fly out of a mountain.

Maybe you can eventually get the gold, and then give it to him, and make the objective of ESCAPING the spirit more direct.

But thats far to many emeralds
mybe 5 le ? that should be around 20k emeralds

 

It was supposed to be like WynnExcavation site C when you ascape the guard, and yes they could make gold fly out of the mountain because they know how to: direct particles, 2 nametags per mob, health bars, and and individual class system, so yeah, there up for the job.

Also I chose Rymek because it has a lot of gold mines.

theres a reason why theres teleport scrolls, like id find it a pain to go around wynncraft and gavel for quests, but it would be fine, and its good because of the rewards, it would make wynncraft players play longer, and they would get some reasons to get back to wynncraft.

thats the reason for the quest, there has to be more stuff in rymek, its an unused town, and they should upgrade it.
