Should Assassin Be Buffed? *nether Update* (205+ Supporters!)

Because it means the world to us.

 

They need to hurry up and fix assassin. I cant even solo the first floors of Qira hive due to lack of high dps .-. smoke bombs were so amazing.

 

Assassin is so shit.
Please fix Salted.

1. Assassin is currently very buggy. Spin Attack gives mobs Speed instead of paralysing them, Multihit no longer does Knockback, Smoke Bomb is now essentially farting at an enemy and will only do damage if the gods wish it and Vanish creates a black hole at the right side of your mana bar.

2. Multihit got nerfed quite a lot, but it does have a large advantage where it can get a lot of damage: Elements. At Grade 3, you do 10 reduced damage hits, and one "Elemental" hit. If you have a weapon with a lot of elements, such as the Relic Daggers, these can total a lot of damage (though due to the nerf, only abut 15% Damage per hit).

3. The only times where an increased attack speed has helped is when it's Super Fast. I'm currently using Twin Daggers that do Thunder and Air damage, and even with their super fast attack speed their averaging what a warrior could do within a few hits.

nah, escape is better, doesnt use like 5 mana and you can regen mana in the 16 or so seconds after using it.. ESCAPE = WIN

 

i think assassin was slightly overpowered before and mage was underpowered, now mage is slightly op, but assassin is even weaker than all the other classes at everything and is near useless in boss/mob fights

i suggest buffing multihit back to what it was but nerfing most of the attack speeds by 1 tier speeds (very fast to fast, fast to normal, super fast to very fast)

 

This is a perfect description for each of these problems. If these aren't bugs and are intended nerfs then Assassin is now the worst class, hands down, as pretty much every spell is now really bad except for Multihit which eats up so much mana- mana that takes WAY too long to regen- that you can only use it a couple times before waiting for all your mana to regen. (Spin Attack is pretty good, but only if you can one-hit the enemy- otherwise, you're pretty much screwed.)

 

I certainly think that assassin needs to get fixed, and that should solve many issues, but the damage you give is pretty bad for such short range spells. Every other class has a spell that can take out more enemies and can do more damage. Before the update, assassin was quite op, but now the classes are even more unbalanced, for e.g: an assassin v archer duel before the update would be difficult for both classes as the archer has amazing range and can take the assassin out in a few hits, but the archer can't see the assassin if he/she vanishes. The assassin will have trouble getting to the archer as it has very short range, but once it does, he/she can take the archer out in one or two multihithits. The balance now is that an assassin can vanish and try get behind the archer (if the mana doesn't run out by then -.-) and use their multihit, but it does so little damage an archer can easily escape after being hit and use their arrow bomb/storm and take out the assassin in one hit. Even the knockback on multihit doesn't increase the amount of damage given, which is pitifully low right now. As for elements, I don't have much experience with them as I currently still use Bob's mythic daggers, which only has neutral damage.

My main frustration is that you have to hit the enemy with a smoke bomb directly, or it bugs out and makes the smoke appear 5 blocks away from where you threw the bomb.

Assassin used to solo, guess Salted Senpai wanted the tables to turn. Mage used to be the weakest, now Assassin just sucks. Pls buff mr. mammal.

Every class has been "nerfed" (not the right terminology, cause assassin was really OP).
Btw just learn how to correctly use the elemental system, every class now is balanced
(I'm an Hunter and i have to run, my mana is damn pretty low regenerating, and my bomb skill consumes 8 mp... )

Hm, cmon, you can't say assassing wasn't OP .. Was literally able to solo vs every boss...
Supporters to post like this seems like "i want my char to be strong as it was"
