World Instant Reviving Potions (just Read It, And Give It A Shot)

    Idea

    Instant reviving potions

    How they would work

    Drink the potion, and after drinking said potion, you'd have one minute usage, if you die within that minute, you'd be instantly respawned in the same location you're in.

    The ways it won't be OP

    latest.png
    -1 to 2 soul points after death with potion

    latest(2).png
    1/4, 2/4, 3/4 of max health, depending on Tier of potion used.

    Tiers
    Wooden_Sword.png
    Diamond_Sword.png

    The potions would come in 3 tiers or so

    Tier 1 : Revives with 1/4 of Max health

    Tier 2 : Revives with 1/2 Max health

    Tier 3 : Revives with 3/4 Max health


    And Finally

    Cost

    Each tier of potion will have a different cost. And levels

    Tier 1 : Level 70 - 80 Cost: 50 EB - 1 Le

    Tier 2 : Level 80 - 90 Cost: 1.5-2.5 Le

    Tier 3 : Level 90 - 100 Cost: 3-4 Le

    Price wise, they are rather expensive.
    I would not invest 1 or 2 le in a potion that revives me with 1/4th of my hp.
    Maybe cut down the cost.

    Btw, the main reason I gave it that price, is cause literally all the quests you do in Gavel at that level range, give you 1-2 Le each, so my thought was to just do that, because you get Le easier now at those levels. But, I can change it, what do you suggest is a good price range?

    Well, it's kinda op, cause if you were to play it right, and if they were way cheaper, like 3/4 or a half, you could stay alive infinitely, and never run out of soul points that way, cause you have infinite, and when you have enough Soul points, just use another one, then you could be infinitely fine, and un-killable, it would be kinda op then.

    I have no idea how that would work... that would involve a respawn timer, or something, which would be VERY annoying if you were alone.

    How would that be better really? Honestly, if it doesn't take away something of Value when you use it, then it's op. Cause think of this;
    You're fighting a boss, and you die, but hey, I threw a teleport totem, and it takes nothing to teleport back, boom, FREE retry, that would just be op... and would be kinda BS. Cause you would be able to use that in the Nether then too. And then you'd be able to just teleport back when the enemy is low on health, and kill them.

    You gotta think of negatives for an item, or it will never get into the game, I found a nice way to make this happen, and it's not cheap to use, it would be a way to do this, with some penalties, so that you can't just use it over and over again, and have no downfalls. There has to be a limit, or something.

    you do realize i ment in the overworld plus your idea is not very well thought out the reason for a "resurrect" potion is to save soul points also if thats the case then why not make a teleport potion in which the areas where you teleport are limited?

    That makes... no sense...

    What I'm saying with this suggestion, is that it still counts as you dying... BUT it allows you to respawn in the same place you died. Because one issue I found with doing the higher leveled quests, and the infamous Hive quest. Is that if you've explored, BEFORE doing the quests, and found other cities, then you respawn way far away. For example, When doing the Hive quest, if you die in one of the floors, and you've been to the city Eltom, you spawn in Eltom, and then you have to run ALL THE WAY BACK to the Hive, and then, you will most likely die again, then the process just continues, and continues. I'm in no way saying that this is perfect, nor am I saying they can't replace these with something else. And I'm IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM saying that this is a way to save Soul points, you're missing the idea here. It's NOT to save soul points, it's to save time. It's to make it so that you don't have to run for 5 minutes through a fucking maze, just to get back to where you died, just to most likely die again. Obviously you didn't understand what I was going for here, so I forgive you. Just don't say that I need to get rid of the Soul points thing, just because it's "Supposed to be a way to save Soul points" because, honestly, it's not. It's to save time.

    Um I was saying that for the fact that if you don't have a penalty, then you could do that, and there would be no penalty, you obviously didn't read all of it, and didn't really understand what I was saying, so, please, just stop.

    This is a nice idea, but I can see a potential problem:

    Imagine you're getting swarmed with mobs, you're hardly able to attack them, nor hurt them, and you drink revival potion. They eventually kill you, but since you have the revival potion active, you aren't teleported away and are killed again losing another 2 Soul Points.

    A possible solution to this could be to give the player resistance for a few seconds after "Reviving" so that they aren't killed as easily for a few seconds and can get away.

    ...Uh, Death's realm? I heard something about that quest, and a "resurrection" of sorts, and its also a potion. And when do we not see things being resurrected in Wynn? Those zombies don't appear out of thin air.
