Wynnpack Optional Methods

In Wynncraft now, there is an awesome resourcepack that has been released and I do say, it looks magnificent with all the custom weapons and textures.

However, one concern I have is the 'Enable Server Resourepacks' function. Many servers do use this function however, I believe there should be an option for this server to have it as optional. Each time I play Wynncraft, I log in and it takes about 10-30 seconds for me to load my resourcepack. During this time, if I had an error in a quest in a combat stage, I could already lose a majority of my health and be killed as soon as it loads up. Currently, I am using a resourcepack released as a separate download and activating it when I play Wynncraft. The only trouble I see from it now is the spam that it would be confusing as I don't have the resoucepack. No, it wouldn't be, I do have the resourcepack but just not using the server function.

Therefore, my suggestion is to have Wynncraft add a feature that when you deny a resourcepack, in the warning messages given for the error, that you can download the Wynnpack from the Wynncraft website as a separate part and dismiss the message that it has been added. Every new update for the Wynnpack, a message will pop up saying that there is a new resourepack released and you again, have the option to either download it from the Minecraft function or an offline function. If you wish to have the resourcepack link, you can do /resourepack which will bring up the error message again including the resourepack link.

Give me feedback on what you think and I appreciate you reading through this thread.

I agree, when I joined, the texture pack looked amazing, however when I have a default texture pack / faithful, I get like 30fps, whereas with the details of the server texture pack, I lower to 10~.

Also, I just pressed "No" to the server texture pack option, and now this is happening...

 

All the custom weapons are blocks. You'd be whacking zombies with a plank or blasting magic bolts out of your trusty stone staircase.

 

Uhmmm if the texturepack makes you lagg like it did to me cuz if i stand still i get 400 fps but moving uh boi 1 fps lmao i was like wait what lol so i use optifine and all my problems are fixed :>

 

I do use optfine, as you might be able to see in the screenshot at the top left.

If you downgrade to 1.8.6 the resource packs download nearly instantly. It's actually an issue with the game that the resource packs don't download faster in more recent versions.

 

Well the thing is... without the resourcepack, your relic wand will turn into a acacia stair...

 

As long as we know what the thing is, there's no need to worry about the texture :p
