World Dragons In Wynn (special Quest, Passivebossmob)

Introduction:
If Wynn is missing something it has to be dragons, I mean come on a medieval MMORPG without dragons. However unlike Skyrim dragons they will just fly around the sky and will not fly down and attack players unless provoked. They have an EXTREMELY low chance of you encountering one. Theres even a quest that I created that will explain the lore between these creatures.

The Dragons:
The dragons are said to appear in both Wynn, Gavel, and over the ocean. Some people claim that they have a hidden nest within Molten Heights of Gavel. No-one has dared go looking for it though. Dragons date back to before Wynn was discovered, the dragons of Gavel had made peace with the villagers as long as they sacrificed their livestock to them once every month. The pact changed when the humans had arrived in Wynn and Gavel. They began to attack the dragons on sight and slaughter their young. They are now on the verge of extinction and rarely come out of hiding. If you decide to challenge the might of these creatures it is wise to attack as a group and not go alone. Do not underestimate the might of the dragon.
NOTE: Dragons cannot harm players under Level Thirty unless the player contributes toward attacking it

Spoiler: Dragon Stats

HP: 30,000

Attack 1: BITE (swoops down and hits you that deals 500 damage, most common attack method)

Attack 2: Fire Breath (releases a stream of fire that deals 150 damage per second standing in its line of fire and will ignite you)

Attack 3: Ender Charge (shoots a fire charge that deals 750 damage on impact and will give you a random 6 second debuff)

Attack 4: Dragon Roar (growls so loud it is heard throughout the entire province, this is an extremely rare form of attack and will only result to this when its health drops below 25%, this will give all players nausea and blindess for 10 seconds giving the dragon time to attack blinded soldiers

Rewards for kill: If you get the final blow on the dragon, the average experience points it will give you is 5000 experience for killing it and 4 EB.

Rewards for damage: Depending on how much damage you did to the boss a fair of experience points will be rewarded to you.

Stage One:
"Talk to Solstheim in Nesaak"

If you are not a LvL 70 he will say:
Solstheim: What is a weak fellow like you doing out in the cold taiga of Nesaak in the first place, return to me once you are a Level 70!

If you are a LvL 70 or higher he will say:
Solstheim: Shhhh... we must keep our voices down there are spy's everywhere in this dreaded province
Solstheim: I am a member of an organization putting our efforts into protecting Wynn from creatures that you thought were a myth... yes thats right... dragons.
Solstheim: And before you ask we are not currently taking any new recruits but are requesting the help of an outsider. Someone to work as a spy against another group working to unleash the dragons onto Wynn and Gavel!
Solstheim: I cannot reveal the full details to you here but if you are interested in aiding our cause travel to Gavel and the town of Lexdale.
Solstheim: There you will meet with one of my fellow bretheren, just walk up to him and say, "Mines in the shop"... Make sure you're ready to go right away when speaking with Varnas... good luck!

Spoiler: Stage Two

"Meet with Varnas in Lexdale"

If you have not began the quest yet he will say:
Varnas: Get lost freeloader...

If you have passed stage one he will say:
Varnas: Get lo-... Oh, you're with us? Solstheim must have assigned you to the job.
Varnas: Here just let me put this blindfold over you...
Varnas: Sorry about the trouble... its just we dont know who we can trust these days!
*You will then be blind for 5 seconds and teleport to an underground headquarters, not accessible by overworld travel*

Spoiler: Stage Three

"Talk to Arengar about the job"
General Arengar: Hmmm... this is what Solstheim sends me for the job. Not impressed... but it will have to do!
General Arengar: Welcome to the official headquarters of, "The Blaze Alliance"... we are a group that protects both Wynn and Gavel from the threat of a total dragon assault
General Arengar: Lately, we have been getting more and more reports of some dragons being spotted roaming the land and making uncoordinated attacks.
General Arengar: This is not a good sign but we are currently handling the situation, and we call to you for help.
General Arengar: You see we need someone to infiltrate the enemy headquarters and seize enemy plans that are hidden somewhere in the labryinth.
General Arengar: It is a difficult task but I am starting to believe you are up for it. Remember, you will be dealing with enemies from another dimension so be cautious.
General Arengar: We are unsure of the location of these documents but we have linked a portal between our base and the enemies. Once you pass through the portal you cannot return the same way. We believe however there is a teleportation scroll that can beam you to Llevigar once your mission is accomplished. From there return to Lexdale to once again meet with Varnas.
General Arengar: Oh and one other thing, we tried this before and failed. Our spy had never returned home once he went through the portal, we believe he is dead but just make sure.
General Arengar: Good luck soldier, when you are ready head through the portal...

Spoiler: Stage Four

"Find the captured spy and ask where the documents are"
*Once you have battled your way through the hordes of ender demons and solved the maze you will come across a prison cell with an enderchest, inside is a book*
The Book says:
"To whom, whoever is reading they plan to banish me to their own dimension. Luckily I have manged to find an escape route and plan to leave as soon as I finish writing this. Dont come looking for me, because you will most likely never find me again, I am officially quitting, "The Blaze Alliance." If you have come to rescue me then dont bother, just make sure to kill the warden he has a teleportation scroll to Ragni and plans for the next attack on Wynn."

Spoiler: Stage Five

"Kill the warden and recover the plans and scroll"
*Once you manage to find and kill the warden boss recover the plans and items and teleport to Lexdale*

Spoiler: Stage Six

"Meet with Varnas once again and then talk to Arengar"
Arengar: Oh my-... I cannot believe it myself. You actually made it out!... with the plans too!
Arengar: What about the spy?... Oh I see, I dont blame him for quitting it was a dangerous job, how he escaped is beyond me though.
Arengar: I am very impressed if only there was a spot for you in the alliance
Arengar: We will handle the dragon situation from here... oh and have these goodies... its the least we can give you from your hard work!

Awesome! Excellent concept and story line, although I'd like to make a suggestion. The reward for this quest is insane, even though the player doesn't actually complete anything other than slay the warden. Perhaps add a couple more things in? Capture a dragon egg, to bring back to The Blaze Alliance? Or make the Warden a more boss-like figure?

That thing is.. A huge structure. I doubt it's an interactive structure, or part a quest, though. (correct me if I'm wrong)

 

Yes its prettty awesome but its not an actual mob

 

The actual mob would break the game. Even with gameruleMobgriefing=off, the dragon would pass through the blocks like a ghost.

 

Custom Mob-AI for the Dragon, of course. To control where it flies. How do you think they controlled the blaze's natural movement patterns?

There is kind of a lv 82 quest talking about a BIG dragon attacked Thanos

 

My eyes are burning by trying to read this... I can't read it unless you make it dark theme friendly XD.
But from what I could read, you have made some interesting lore. But if you are thinking of enderdragons for this, then no. Enderdragons are extremely laggy. Wynn is way too laggy and it doesn't even have them yet.

 

..... wait, you do realise making the roar, fire lazer beam actually require a lot of plug'ing *pluggins* or sometimes, command block.. which will definetly lag the server or in the worst case scenario, crash the ENTIRE server, and btw, IF it's in the molten height... why would it be a lvl 70 mission? XD

 

why dont you make Dragons like horses, that you can ride/fly one! That would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

I love this idea. ;-; but.. Dragons... apparently.. like the crap out of the server.. i found this out when i made a similar suggestion but instead of a quest. it was like having dragons as horses. but cost like 5le. 1+ support though.
