World Road To Gavel (water Travel Fix)

Hi, There is no good way to travel between Wynn and Gavel without scrolls as water travel is very glitchy and time consuming. Many people have found that travelling along the west border of the ocean is a much faster way to get to Gavel so I figured that a small road or pathway can be built along this border to allow a more established and easier way to travel between provinces that will allow for a more friendlier access for horses. The path can start at the little house near Katoa ranch in Wynn and go to the docks at the Gavel entrance.

Many of you will probably say that the path isn't needed because scrolls are a good enough system to travel between provinces but that is a really quick and expensive process. Travelling the path is still going to take a while because it starts near Ragni and is very long so scrolls would still be a very viable way of travel. the Path inst supposed to be an easy way out but a more convenient option.

Now I understand staff are very busy right now and probably want to have a break from building for a little while but this path doesn't have to be very elaborate and it also gives a good excuse to update this side of the ocean to match the other two sides and make it look less like plain vanilla mountains.

Before the update water travel wasn't important enough to address this issue but now players are going to want to travel over the ocean many times as there doesn't seem to be another option and for some this is almost an impossible task. The pathway is mainly offering another option to players that don't want to travel by boat.

I actually thought the main way to travel from Wynn to gavel was by airship after seeing the sneak peak for the quests with airships in.

 

If any one's played Runescape, Loadstones...

 

I haven't actually done much in Gavel yet but is this an actual thing you can do now or is it something that may come in the future

 

I haven't finished the quest yet, but for acquiring credentials quest you have to find a passport to an airship. And the ticket is called a 1 way trip to Detlas from Cinfras.. So who knows xD

Even if airship travel was added isnt the quest like lvl 75 so lower levels may not have access to it

 

I just finished the quests that you mentioned. You get free travel between Cenfras and Detlas. BY AIRSHIP

what level is the quest?

 

there are airships in gavel only... but it could be really cool if they make somewhere a point on which you can travel...

maybe it will teleport you to an airship for 30 seconds when you go there so it will be a bit like maple story... without the mobs of course...

 

Airship goes from Detlas to Cinfras after completing the flight in distress quest.

after level 75 you can do the quest to get this!?!

detlas has an airbase in the back with a VERY small airship

i think we should stick with the path

 

although airships are good, u can only use them at level 75 and over. once your this level u don't eve have much need to return to Wynn as all of your quests will be in gavel but at level 40-75 u still have quests in both Wynn and Gavel so I still think the path is a good idea.

 

There shouldn't be a path, traveling between provinces isn't meant to be free and easy, and as the hype dies down water travel should become less laggy. Also having a path by Ragni would allow very low level players to get to Gavel when they shouldn't.

 

I personally find the boat trip nice since I can admire the mountains and how good they look. Sort of like a cruise
