I grinded constantly in a week, how am I lucky? xD

 

You still leveled up in less then a week

 

Seeing all the replies to this thread has made me want to say something else. Seeing as how even when I go to the Tower of Ascension to grind, it takes abysmally long to level up. It just makes me want to tear my own hair out. Most mobs there are level 50, but the xp rates are so small it seems like nothing is happening at all.

Hopefully Gavel fixes this.

Gavel's going to be adding about 50 quests, so that oughta help fix the quest distribution problem. As for the grinding issue, I don't know, I haven't really done a comparison between XP gain in current wynn versus gavel update.

 

If you're so impatient that you can't wait less than 3 days for the Gavel update, I don't really see how you could have survived to level 50.

I agree that level 40-50 is an awkward phase quest wise. But as @YunoFuckingGasai said above:

A level 50 killing level 70 mobs seems suspicious... considering there's only two level 70 mobs I know, one which is only in a teleported quest area...

 

1. Wait for Gavel. There will be so many quests that the amount of grinding will be WAY smaller.
2. Actually most quests have good rewards, and Gavel will again bring more.
3. Gavel is almost out.
4. So what is your suggestion?

 

1. Unlike in most RPGs, the levelling system is quite different, as it keeps you fighting mobs your own level and brings a more progressive system. In other RPGs, killing a level 100 Enemy whilst at Level 1 would most likely bosst you quite a few levels, but in Wynncraft (as explained above) you have a much less chance of gaining XP, and gain less XP for each 1 level difference between you and the mob you're fighting. As well as this, different enemies drop different XP, killing one level 50 Mob may yield more XP than another.

2. This is a problem that has been addressed before, and what Gavel is planning to fix. Gavel starts at level 40, specifically for the reason that content begins to lessen around this area. Be patient, Gavel will fix a lot of these problems. Grian himself said that Wynncraft is still in development.

3. Gavel is very close at the time of posting this, so you shouldn't need to wait much longer.

4. The Tower of Ascension is a terrible place to grind, and the reason the mobs drop so little XP is that they're not designed to be grinded on. The place most level 50-68's use is an area called the "Herb Cave". Go across the "Great Bridge" near Nesaak that leads to the Jungle, then turn right facing toward the jungle and go forward. You should find a medium sized cave with two types of mob: "Herb Spawn" and "Dead Miner".

 

the tower isn't made to be grinded on. personally you should do a bit of research before complaining in my opinion. The best place to farm is te herb cave which is derictly to the right of the great bridge once you enter the troms jungle

 

i have been playing wynncraft for a long time now since before the vip village and i am level 53 on warrior i had cour de lion spear and with the new update it changed it to a razor spear when i identified it

 

You'll get it at around 5 seconds
