World Wynncraft Complaints

So, Wynncraft is one of my favourite servers. However, it's not perfect. So I would like to give suggestions to improve it.

1. The leveling system.
This thing is hell. The amout of xp you get from killing a singular thing, in my opinion, is ridiculously small. As a lvl 50 assassin, I have been killing level 70 enemies and only getting 200 xp. This may be my specs, but most people have complaints about the same thing. It's insane.

2. The quests
As a Wynncraft vet, these things always had flaws. Sometimes the rewards weren't worth the quest, but for the most part, its just quest distribution. Once again, as a lvl 50, the quests are few and far between. From the last quest you can do at lvl 49, you have to go through 3 levels to get to the next quest. And since the xp distribution is messed up, the next quest is a long journey away.

3. The fact that Gavel isn't out yet.
Not a serious one. I just want it. NOW.

Hopefully Gavel will fix some of these, but until then, these are my complaints.

Fix problem No.3:

Gavel will be released this month.

 

1) for every one level difference between you and the mob thete is a 3% chance that you won't get xp. If you are level 50 and you are fighting level 70 mobs there is a 60% chance you won't get xp.
2) Gavel will supply content (50+ quests) for levels 40+ so thr quest gap will close up.
3) Gavel will come out in a couple of weeks.

 

As we all know, or most of us do, Gavel will supply us a good amount of quests. The reason why there aren't many quests at the moment is because they aren't easy to make. Not only that, but they have to make sense and they have to be good in quality, and somehow be sort of fun. As for now, we'll just wait for Gavel. Also, in most MMO RPGs, grinding is a huge part, but as for now, it seems like it will be fixed when Gavel Expansion is released.

 

My problems with the server

1. The lights turn on and off
2. The phone rings and nobody is there
3. The walls will ooze green slime

 

1. Dont kill mobs much above or below your level as the amount you get an average decreases. Also, what level 70 mobs have you been killing? Also, invest in xp bonus identifications
2. On my hunter i have tried my best not to kill any mobs i didnt have to kill for quest completion or to prevent imminent death, and can, without killing any mobs, get to level 47 by quests alone. Killing a few mobs from there on wont kill you
3. Well... heh

 

1: seems pretty obvious. You = level 50, but mobs =/= level 50.
2: this will be fixed when Gavel comes out, wich
3: is just around the corner.

 

Have you tried turning it on and off?

Is that why the servers are always down?

 

1. You gain more XP for killing mobs closer towards your own level. This is to prevent power-leveling.

2. Gavel = Level 40 - 100 + Many, many more quests.

 

This statement is false. The amount of XP gained is the same, but the chance of gaining XP at all reduces by 3%. Meaning if you are a Lv 60 killing Lv 70 or 50 mobs there is a 30% chance to get 0xp.

 

If you're doing this, I'd like to say...
You're not doing leveling the right way.

 

The only thing that bugs me is grinding, for ME, it could take 2-4 months to max out a class if i played every day 24/7 with xp bombs

 

Its Took me 2 months to max My second class
But the first is the hard one it took me 2 years....

 

Took me just a week from 60-75 :>

Well the answer to the first one is, don't grind mobs so much higher leveled than you. You get way more XP from mobs closer to your level.

 

You'll get Gavel, eventually

 

Therefore you will still get less XP on average.

 

How am I lucky if I nolifed? ;--;
