World When Worlds Crash

As you all know, sometimes, the Wynncraft servers break. So I feel like we need to edit the current plugin. Basically, this would allow any responsible moderator to issue the same server fix that normally required an admin. Some reasons for this are as follows:
-Moderators are on more than admins
-The servers often break on weekends, leading to less players

Or coders, you could edit the current plugin so it doesn't break, because when there's 600+ players online and 4 working game servers, it doesn't go well.

 

While this would be needed, you provided no detail to this whatsoever. Also the dev team is working on Gavel, so if this got implemented it would take a while

 

It doesn't need detail, it is very basic.

Devs give moderators ability to do the same thing they do to restart servers.

Servers get restarted faster because of moderators.

 

Frankly, it can't really get that much more detailed.

 

A few months ago, Jumla tweeted that Wynn's code had about 60,000+ lines. I don't think they'll want to edit it. I think just giving Mods the ability to restart servers should be enough.

While the suggestion needs more detail desperately, it could go with something like this:

mod does /restart <world number>
-game asks mod to confirm
-game then sends a message to that world only stating that the server will restart in 10 min

Create new worlds, fix issues

 

Why would you restart all worlds? They all have different servers for each world which means that the problems should not go to every world

 

While it does seem basic I think that the only this it really needs it the commands the mods can use

 

The mods use whatever command the ADMINs use to RESTART the worlds.

what would happen if you finally beat Floor 6 boss fast enough in ToA and right before you got the boss shard all the servers got restarted?

 

Then you would have to beat the boss all over again.

There would, the NORMAL restart warning.
