Quest: Corruption Of Gavel

I love this quest. However, Gavel is meant to be a province without corruption. Especially since the Corruption only want to hurt us, the humans, while the villagers did not mine into the Roots of Corruption, so they are not attacked. Also, we don't actually know if Dern is the source of corruption or even if it is going to be corrupted at all. Yes, we can assume it can... but the dern emmigrants and the more recently Dern-related mobs/quests/lore seem to suggest that it is a dark and evil place, though it doesn't seem to have corruption.

 

True, yet corruption seems to seep due to the battle lines between the two, so maybe, the light and dark together again will lead to corruption in gavel due to Derns presence.

And since Salted takes recommendations based on our views. It will likely be corrupted

But the corruption in Wynn only happens because humans are there. The corruption attacks humans, not villagers.
