First, you must find Xi at Gavel (I'll update when I find a good place).

Level 1-98
[1/2] Xi: What are you doing?! You could get killed out here!
[2/2] Xi: I need people with only the highest tier of strength.

Level 99+
[1/5] Xi: Listen bud, I need a favor. This is quite a hefty one.
[2/5] Xi: Gavel is in the midst of a cataclysm currently. And it's not pretty.
[3/5] Xi: Let me get straight to the point, I have a friend who is very dear to me, living in that area.
[4/5] Xi: Please, go find him, he is located north of here, but quite far away.
[5/5] Xi: His name is Dec. You might find yourself troubled by a few monsters, but you could take care of them.

Quest Book: Look for Dec, north of Xi. [Coordinates]

On the way, you will find a few new mobs.

After you go through the fleet of mobs, and path your way to the house where Dec lives. It is a bit too late, the house is destroyed, but he is there.

[2/8] Dec: Xi... Oh god. I'm so glad he's alive. I've been so worried. But... why did he send you here?
[3/8] Dec: To make sure I was alright? Yeah, I'm alright. But this place? Gavel is about to fall.
[4/8] Dec: Look kid, you need to go... and now. If no one does anything, we're all screwed.
[5/8] Dec: There is one controlling this entire thing. I can't tell you who, but, I know someone that might help.
[6/8] Dec: Here, his name is Lec. He dosen't talk to strangers. So take this, and he'll know it's me that sent you. [1 Note to Lec]
[7/8] Dec: He should be somewhere in the Doom Cave, It's a very dangerous place, but there's only one way there.

Quest Book: Make your way to Doom Cave [Coordinates] and kill Doom to then find Lec in the cave, and hand him the letter.

On the way, you will find a new set of mobs, doom mobs, which are quite stronger than previous ones.

Quest Book: Travel down into the depths of Doom Cave to find the Boss Room.

You now need to head down into the Doom Cave, where all original doom mobs with spawn except Doom. There will be a few puzzles in the Doom Cave, which in fact are a bit troublesome to figure out. But you'll get it sooner or later. As soon as you reach the area in Doom Cave where it says: "DO NOT ENTER"... you enter. There is a hall similar to Bobs Reincarnation's boss hall. As you walk down the boss hall:

[1/5] Lunatic Doom Cataclysmal: Oh a guest? Props for making it this far, but I have to let you know, this is your end.
[2/5] Lunatic Doom Cataclysmal: I'll fill you in on why you're here. You want to save Gavel from the massive cataclysm.
[3/5] Lunatic Doom Cataclysmal: Well guess what... It's too late! Dern's time has come to an end.
[4/5] Lunatic Doom Cataclysmal: As well as you too.
[5/5] Lunatic Doom Cataclysmal: Die.

You enter the boss room

As soon as you pick up the Catalyst of Destruction, all players are teleported back to the Cave of Doom, where you went into the boss hall.

If this is set in the Dern Province, then you should increase the level req. for the quest (unless if it is one of the first quests for Dern)

I don't know, but probably is going to be above Gavel's cap. I don't think the builders have much of a plan for Dern yet. Once we know the level cap for Gavel, then you can probably estimate Dern's cap

 

Since this clearly took an hour, i approve because anyone who would write such a long thread must have a decent idea, especially one who would take all that time. That much writing requires a well thought out plan.
