    Rising from gem rest turmoil and intense training ftom the barracks of wynncraft, the tank comes to not only kill those pesky creepers, but to protect his friends. The training from the barracks have turned this once ordinary man to a terrifying brute on the battlefield.


    Defense:[] [] [] []
    Damage:[] [] [
    Range:[] []


    Weapon: Sword(Iron Sword)
    Attack: Meelee. Sweeps in front of him with his blade to hit multiple enemies
    Playstyle: Damage absorption and crowd control and average offense.
    Special: Receives an extra 5% bonus from armor, and relieves a shield to block attacks. Requires 150 total levels to unlock.

    Skills:


    LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT:
    Wall of Wynn I: the move hits 3 blocks in front and one blocks to either side of the player and launches the enemies back 6 blocks.
    Effect will be cobblestone blocks moving forward for 6 blocks and then disappearing.

    Wall of Wynn II: Added 5% damage bonus and also temporarily gives resistance for 1 minute to the player and any nearby allies.

    Wall of Wynn III: 10% more bonus damage and makes the wall spiked causing poison damage to hit enemies for 10 seconds. Poison is to represent a bleeding effect.


    LEFT-LEFT-LEFT:

    Earthquaker I: Makes the player fly up and forward to help him travel and surprise his foes.

    Earthquaker II: The player leaps and hits the ground with force enough to break down a house. Upon hitting the ground, any enemies around the tank will be knocked back and take damage.

    Earthquaker III: The player is able to move a lot more fluidly in the air. At level 3 the player can control his leap and move down when he pleases by looking left and right, or down.


    LEFT-RIGHT-RIGHT:

    Protector's Might I: The Tank is filled with strength from his many losses. The player gains absorption 1 and speed 1 to help him take more damage.

    Protector's Might II: The tank realeases a cry of anguish causing his foes to be blinded. Gives enemies within a 3 block radius blindness for 10 seconds.

    Protector's Might III: The Tank is filled with his loss but overcomes it in that moment. The player gets absorption 2 for 3:00 minutes and speed 2 for 10 seconds

    LEFT-LEFT-RIGHT:

    Pure Rage I: The Tank releases all his pent up rage to vanquish the enemy. The player gains strength 1 for 1 minute and deals area effect damage on use

    Pure Rage II: The Tank's rage is used to knock down a path in front of him. Launches a projectile similar to the Warriors war cry in front dealing dance and pushing back enemies. 10% damage increase.

    Pure Rage III: The Tank further increases his destructive capability. Gives tank strength 2 for 1 minute 10% damage increase.

    Uses a sword and shield as weapons. The sword will give the initial sweep attack described at the top and the shield will give him extra defense making the rank a more tactful and practice needed class.

    In my opinion it is similiar to the warrior, also,
    some animations aren't really well-chosen, as a moving-cobblestone wall would just work on a more or less flat world.

    Lore is not needed, but can be good. It ruins it when you say the class is here to destroy a already extinct species.

    Secondly, Wynncraft is not even fully 1.8 yet, don't even dream about 1.9

    Also, you cant use a sword. The blocking interferes with the spell casting

    AND once again, not 1.9, cant use shields

    Not trying to be mean, but please either re-work the whole thing, or delete the thread

    It is a good concept, but I highly doubt wynn will upgrade to 1.9, so an axe would work much better for this. But also, if they were using a weapom, they can't have the archer click combos, cause bows fire with right click, and melee attacks are dome with left click. So just swap the mouse buttonsnon the combos, and change it to an axe... that would work.

    1. The Tank is such a gamer term that it's ridiculous. No real kingdom would have a soldier called "a tank".
    2. Um... Which barracks? Plus, this is a 1.9 suggestion. Gavel would be out by the time Wynncraft is 1.9. (And the place is called Wynn)
    3. How would the shield block work with the spell system?
    4. Creepers aren't even belived in in Wynn- They're dismissed as a fairy tale. They don't even annoy you.
    5. Mana?
    6. You're using archer combos e.e
    7. The third spell is the damaging spell.

    All in all... Please make this a bit more thought-out.

    I know there is not blocking in 1.9, it wynncraft is not even fully 1.8 yet.

    A tank in WynnCraft as it is now would be pretty easy to make.
    Obviously as you level you want points in Defense
    Spells should be something like
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Warriors Last Stand [Left Left Left] - For x seconds become immune to all damage - high hunger cost
    Taunt [Left Righ Right] - All nearby enemies target you - very low hunger cost as enemies spawn radiacally
    Heroic Battle Cry - [ Left Left Right ] - Increase Defense of nearby players by 50% for x seconds - med hunger cost

    Uses Axe
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The challenge is .. dungeons dont need tanks as they are now. Dungeons dont need much cooperation at all.
    Until the content becomes more complex.. class mix/matching isnt needed.

    I have a lot of dungeon ideas I could go on about and I may in another thread. I personally would love more complex NPC / Enemy AI in over world and dungeons.

    We already have a tank class: the Warrior. He gets 120% defense from armor and has defense-boosting abilities as one of his mainstay spells. This gets 105% armor defense, but the definition of tank in MMO terms is someone who goes aheads and soaks up damage for a party. The Warrior would be a better tank class than the Tank.

    Havent played warrior yet. That sounds good.

    Currently the mechanics of mob attacks work on aggro dont they ? I imaging whoever did the largest attack gets the monsters attention, the tank would need some way to draw aggression to him even if his team is beating the snot out of the bad guy, at least at an interval such as a "taunt". Do we have a way to do this now? if so ill roll a warrior for sure.

    War Scream hits a really wide radius for minor knockback, drawing attention to the Warrior. It also provides resistance(and eventually strength) buffs to the warrior and those around the caster.
