World Suggestion: Double Xp Sunday | 75+ Supporters

Hello everybody! Brian here,
I would like to suggest a re-addition to an old feature that was simple, and useful.​

If any of you remember, a long time ago there was a feature called Double XP Sunday.

This was removed when Wynncraft updated due to the whole entire EULA event; when Mojang forced the EULA upon all servers.

The three rules that were majorly reinforced were...
"You cannot try to make money from anything we've made"
and
"You cannot make commercial use of anything we've made"
and
"You cannot let other people get access to anything we've made in a way that is unfair or unreasonable"

Basically, this meant that Mojang did not want servers having donator ranks that allow people to purchase things that other people cannot get without purchasing the donator rank.

This meant no donator exclusive items, donator exclusive perks, or basically anything donator exclusive.

One of the only thing that was allowed was Cosmetic stuff, such as allowing people to ride each other, morphing into a pig, or picking music that you want.

This meant for Wynncraft, it had to remove many features.

One of those features were Double XP for donators, permanently.

Along with the removal of that feature for donators, Double XP Sunday got removed aswell.

You might think "Why are you suggesting this if the EULA says against it?"

The Double XP Sunday was never just for the donators, but for everyone.

I personally do not know why Wynncraft removed the Double XP Sunday.

I have looked into the EULA and the EULA does not conflict with this idea.

Enough for the history of Wynncraft and the EULA, here is my suggestion.

Please re-add the feature of the Double XP Sunday.
It was fun, quick, everyone could use it, it isn't game-changing, and the EULA allows it! I would love to see it again.​

I would like Double XP Sundays back, but maybe only twice every month? Every Sunday seems pretty broken, but that's just me.

Yes, because it provides a chance to earn double XP without paying money.

No, because it may make buying XP Bombs less popular and the buy-rate of them lower.

Such hard decision, but I'll go ahead and support it just because most people also don't like to pay money for things that don't affect gameplay for themselves.

 

It's entirely possible it was removed for reasons other than the EULA, since it doesn't actually go against it, but I support bringing this back as I think it would be a nice feature personally.

It would be nice to see these re-added! I remeber it normally brining the server a bit more traffic, which is a good thing for the most part, and by now I would think the current servers should be able to stand up to in increase of players that something like this would bring.

 

Probably not EVERY Sunday since that's ridiculous, but maybe once or twice a month would be great.

 

...You know before the whole EULA drama donators had double XP 24/7, right?

Personally, I'd like to see this re-added. Wynncraft has less and less people on and it would give them an incentive to play on weekends. Plus the whole being on Sunday thing means that people in other time zones can enjoy it.

 

We have this already it's called double XP weekend and that by itself maybe just a bit op

 

I'd like double Xp days as a way to forgive them for the Gavel retard :D
For example, for every month of retard, a double XP weekend (2 days).

@TehBrian I agree, but you might want to re-do your argument. You spend a lot of time explaining what it is, and why it was removed, but not what it should be re-added. Its a very weak argument. Also, you may want to look as into why was it removed. Was it too OP? Did it break the EULA? Honestly, the EULA has tricky wording. I live in the Middle East, and the weekend is Friday and Saturday. So really, it would not be weekend on Sunday and harder to make it fair. I honestly do not think that was the problem, but once again, the EULA has strange wording. Just double check why it was removed, and try to strengthen your argument a bit.

I have an idea how about on the 2nd and 22nd of every month 2 for 2x XP!

 

I get the feeling you kinda copied the tripe coin sundays from Hypixel, but meh
