Website & Forums Have A Separate Section For "good" Suggestions [over 135 Supporters!]

Recently, I took a step back from the forums, specifically the General Suggestions page. The main reason being that it gets filled with random suggestions that have been done to death and people say over and over again that they can't be done (Housing, guild bases, flying mounts, etc). The good quests get tosses aside and ignored (even with tons of supporters), new and thought out classes get called unoriginal (even if it's never been done), and the pets suggestions are immediately swarmed by EULA-spammers (even if it works around it).

So here's my idea: Make a new section for the "good" suggestions. It will be called,

Featured Suggestions​

If a suggested object collects at least 100 supporters, approval by 5 staff members, and close-to-no flaws, then it gets moved to the Featured Suggestions page. This will allow the tossed aside good suggestions (I'm looking at you Build a boat and Hobbies) to not be forgotten. If it continues to grow over the lifespan, and close to all the staff agree that it would work or get it to work, then it can be put in line to be added to Wynncraft. It doesn't have to be added in one month, heck, it could be over a year, but eventually it would be added.

"What happens if a thread gets added?" You may be asking. It would still get moved to and stay in Featured Suggestions, but stay locked so that people can see if the idea has already been done/suggested without having to look through 20 pages of suggestions.

I have seen so many good suggestions tossed aside by so many people, and with this, they could actually be added in the near/far future! From boats to minigames, from more wild animals to a minor horse edit, Wynncraft will become a better place overall!

January 25th: I was actually expecting a bit of malicious things from the staff since this would promote implementation (AKA an uber-hard thing to do involving spilled coffee from what I've heard)
Feb 6th: I actually can't believe I got 125 supporters from this small suggestion! I write actual pieces of literature you know......
Feb 15th: I've been a tad inactive lately, and hopefully that can change! I'll update the log as time goes on
Feb 22: I updated the log some more and started working on any more keen details.

Seems like a sort of thread-discrimination to me, if a suggestion has many supporters it will stay on page 1.

 

I have two things to say:
The first is exactly what Kitten said- Thread discrimination Kinda.
The second is that a suggestion that good would be implemented anyways.
So ye, that's really all I have to say.

 

It's not discrimination, I like this suggestion because right now the really good suggestions get, like Trump said, tossed aside. I approve of this idea.

 

Well, discrimination maybe is the wrong word, but what I basically tried to say is when a thread has many active supporters, it will be pushed constantly.
The "not-that-good" suggestions will be tossed aside fast enough, even faster when older posts would get locked

 

So kinda like "Featured Wynncraftian"?

Supporter! I think it might work... but still, some good suggestions get pushed aside too fast for people to support.

now we just need to keep bumping this post until it get implemented.

there are a lot of suggestions that had 100+ supporters but after a month or so new supporters stop coming or they stop bumping the thread and the old supporters stop replying and the thread slowly dies out as the op cant keep a thread alive alone.

As a co owner of a popular suggestion I approve! But thread active supporters can only bump a thread so many times. Also you should name general suggestions to undiscovered suggestions or something along those lines. +1

 

I remember suggesting this exact same thing back before 9/7. Although my logic for this was that it would serve as a list of not just stuff that might get added sometime in the future, but also sort of a guide to what a good suggestion should look like.
