World | Enchanted Books | Adding Some Enchantment Into Your Gamestyle |

General Idea

It's been a long while since I made a general suggestion, it's been hard thinking of ways to improve our great Wynncraft. Over the past few days, I thought of ideas such as (Don't steal my ideas) and (This), but I thought something with books is highly exciting. Enchanting books help increase your style of combat, especially against Bob and Amadel. Books drop from random mobs and have a 5-10% chance in dropping, kind of rare. After you pick up a book it would look like a average enchanted book, shiny. To consume the powers of the book, right click the book and it would disappear into thin air. You would gain the effects of the enchanted book, for example: if you have a book with 'Health Bound', the book would increase your base health, FOR A LIMITED AMOUNT OF TIME. Different types of books have different effects, but I would list that later. To make holding books easier, you could compact various amounts of books (Max: 5) into one super, giant book, having a larger amount of time than the original. In major cities, there would be a NPC labeled, 'Book Binder', who can bind your books together, for a price.

Description: Boosts your health as long as this is active.

Tier I: Weak Magic
Duration: 15 Seconds

Description: Boosts your maximum mama capacity as long as this effect is active.

This part, the tiers are getting weaker as they grow.

 

Yep, basically. A little more to gameplay.

 

I think if they implement these into the game, they could probably replace potions, since most likely these would be activated instantly with a single right-click, I think this would really give people something to actually spend on, to buy/bind them, great idea!

 

2 things I just want to point out:
Don't use black text, it makes us dark themed users require way too much effort to read.
And 5-10% drop chance is really common. That means you'll probably get at least one or two before you even reach level 2.

Dark...theme? 5-10% is pretty good, at least more rarer than the boring potions.

That's the point, the boost means how much of the opponent's damage they take, so if they do 100 damage to you, you only take 50 with 'stronghold'. The duration decreases because if it went higher, it would have been OP in the Nether.

 

Shouldn't stronghold be 90% instead, or you should change what it does from allowing the amount of damage blocked to the amount of damage let through. Tier 1: 50% Dmg blocked|Tier 2: 60% dmg blocked and so on.
