Just saying, being a high level can be boring. Nothing to do but grind or advance in ToA all day, but what if we could do something else---like fishing! Or maybe we could mine! This is the type of thing we should add to Wynncraft. Hobbies. Hobbies would be a unique addition to Wynncraft. Hobbies are purely optional, like guilds, but obviously, it's just for fun and so Wynncraft seems more like an RPG! I've thought of 3 basic hobbies that seem fitting to Wynncraft. Let's start with the fishing hobby.
    ==============================================================================
    FISHING

Fishing will be the first hobby. First, you must buy a fishing rod from the Hobby Merchant. Fishing rods will be bought at Nemract, which will go for the prices below the text. On the fishing rod, it will have a value called luck. Depending on what luck value is, it will give the chance of getting other items. The luck values and benefits will also be below this text. To cast the line, it will be like normal, right-click, however, a firework spark will appear after 5-10 seconds of casting it. Right-click within the second it appears and a fish will appear in your inventory, or drop at your feet if it's full. Fish will appear either as their respective items, or as custom skulls. Enchanting a fishing rod with powders will improve different things: Red Powder I or II allows the rod to fish in lava, Green Powder I or II gives +1 or +2 extra luck (Green Powder is the same on all hobby items), depending on what tier it is, and finally, Blue Powder I or II gives +0.5 or +1 second of time to catch the fish.

    MINING

Now, the next hobby is mining. The Hobby Merchant for pickaxes is found in Rymek. To mine with a pickaxe, right-click any type of ore. If this is added after Gavel, I'm thinking the ores could be changed to a darkened ore with a question mark on it, or something similar. After 5-10 seconds, firework spark particles will appear, and it will give you the ore you found or drop it at your feet. As for the powder effects, Red Powder I or II allows for the pickaxe to mine nether quartz ore (which may also be retextured), and Blue Powder I or II allows for the pickaxe to mine underwater (except if it's under ice blocks). If Blue Powder II is equipped, you can also mine under lava and ice blocks.

    BREWING

The final hobby is brewing, or brewery, which uses blaze rods. The Hobby Merchant for blaze rods is in Almuj. Brewing is a slightly different hobby. To brew, right-click a cauldron with your blaze rod. After 5-10 seconds, firework sparks particles appear, and a potion will appear above the cauldron. However, there is a 30% chance that the brewing stand lets out an explosion, which deals 9.5 hearts of health to anyone in the blast radius. Collect the potion to see what you get. Please note that all potions will be custom skulls so they may stack and so you may not drink them naturally. For powder effects: Red Powder I or II allows for the player to brew in nether cauldrons (cauldrons found near fire, lava, etc.) and Blue Powder I or II lowers the chance of the potion exploding by 10% or 25%, depending on the tier.

Tbh doing hobbies in minecraft on a server wouldn't seem like something cool especially seeing as how some of these could become grindy and not seem like a hobby but more as mission to "I HAVE TO GET THAT ITEM TO BE OP"

Hobbies serve no extra-purpose, or break balancing issues, or anything. They're hobbies---they're supposed to be fun. No-one will care about how you treat your hobbies. It's just for fun.

This sounds like a really cool and interesting idea. Maybe there could be certain "Sweet Spots" where you could mine for Ore? For example, mining a random stone block would yield nothing, but mining an ore block hidden in a cave could yield a higher chance of an item?

I love the creativity and time spent on this Suggestion <3

Anyways, I'd love for Fishing, Mining and Brewing to get added, I feel like what you are suggesting has a major flaw.
These Hobbies would be something one would do to get away from the grinding, to get away from the just looking at the screen and clicking, But looking at the screen and clicking is exactly what this is!
You click once, wait, and click again, and something happens.

The idea is good, but it needs to be interactive, also, I feel like there should be a seperate leveling type thing for this, aka, you can be a certain level in doing this such thing, which creates another goal once you're the max level.

    So..
    1. Needs more interactivity.
    2. Maybe a Leveling system would be cool?
    3. The Mining thing seems somewhat weird, since you can then use it on any rock, maybe it should be on certain rocks, with "you need to be level *** to mine this ore!"
    4. What can the output items be used for? Can you sell them? Is there any actual use? A possible and cool use could be for quests, It would be kind of Fetch-y, but can be used to introduce something like this to new people.

    1. Fishing mainly, includes going to varying areas to find new species.
    2. It's close to leveling system, but you can buy items with better luck with every 15 levels.
    3. I guess I can make it so different areas yield different ores. I'll change that now.
    4. By output items, I think you mean the other extremely rare item---The map, the Corrupted Map, the crystal, the Tainted Crystal, and the potion, the Otherworldly Potion. These items all give co-ordinates in their lore, however the lore is obfuscated. It's sort-of like a Sealed Letter. The text must be discovered. If the suggestion gets popular really quickly, maybe I'll include an extra thread as a little bonus for these items.
