World Mystery Of Gerock Quest

Talk to Gerock in Lusuco.

Gerock: Hello stranger. I had a grandfather, and I don't think he went to Heaven.
He was a good man, I wonder why he didn't go.
Gerock: There are to gateways to heaven, one in Bobs Tomb and one on a mountain.
Gerock: I don't know the exact location of the one on a mountain, but I know a
map maker who knows how to get there. He lives in Almuj.

Mapmaker: The gateway? Yes! It is said in ancient writing that I keep in my basement, that there is an island with a gateway to Heaven.
Mapmaker: I can give you a map, but that will cost you. Bring me 20 Feathers and 10 Crushed Insects.

Mapmaker: You have it? Great! Here's that map you wanted!

note: the name of the map has the coords of the gateway.

The mobs guarding heaven:
Angel Spirit: mob- wither skull, 180 HP, 70-90 dam, 90 regen.

Heaven Guards: mob- iron golem, 200 HP 80-90 dam

The gateway teleports you to a heaven like area. There is a throne with God in it.

God: Him? He didn't go to heaven? Well, there is only one cause.
God: Death Demons must've taken him to Hell on the way to heaven. Perhaps if you bring me his soul, after killing his dead version, I can bring him to heaven. I believe the gateway to Hell is by that terrible portal Bob's miners discovered by Detlas...

Hell Mobs:

Demon: mob- zombie, 200 Hp, 80 dam, 100 regen
Evil Spirit: mob- witherskull, 180 HP, 80 dam, charge spell, 180 regen


Boss: Gerocks Brother
3000 HP, mob: skeleton, 90 dam, charge, bash, vanish spells, 1000 regen.
Drops: Soul

God: You have it? Good. Gerocks brother is on his way!
God: you should tell Gerock about this!

Gerock: He is in Heaven now? Someday, I will see him again.
Gerock: Here is 32 EB and 5000 Xp for you to remember you noble deed.

Minimum Quest Lvl: 46
Difficulty: Hard

Please, include more storyline.
At the moment it is just a run around kill mobs-quests, at least you didn't set the reward to something like 5 le ;-:

 

This doesn't really fit in with the official lore...
Also, he changes to his brother halfway through the quest, and talking to God seems pretty weird in any quest.

 

This quest is... A bit... I don't know how to put it without going into five paragraphs of more...

To be flat, I personally don't like the quest because it is fairly linear with basically no depth in the story telling and the fact that not everybody believes in a heaven and hell, which could offend some people.

 

Well some people are non-'spiritual' so 'Heaven' and 'Hell' might offend some, like me quite honestly.

Um... Okay.
Time for reviews.

1. For a level 46 quest boss, that's a very small amount of health. Around 4000 would do it.
2. How is Gerock so sure his grandpop didn't go to heaven? He seems quite sure of himself- Maybe you could say that some mystic told him that his grandfather's soul wasn't up there?
3. A little more dialouge and some immersing dialouge? For example, the Bomb Expert at Lusuco has a bad cold, Javier speaks all pirate-like, and the King of Troms acts like a total snob. Maybe you could do some of that with your NPCs.
4. Wouldn't God know if the soul went to heaven? And could you explain a little more of where the Hell portal is and where to enter it? (If you enter the nether portal, you go to the first available WN server) And also, I'm not sure if Gerock is talking about his grandfather or his brother.
5. I'm not sure if you're Christian or not, and not to insult your religion, but it seems a little to religion-involved. Heaven and Hell is all fine, but I think you should make God be a Wynnic god with a name and not the Christian God.
