World Death Of Dern Quest

Talk to Blazit at xyz.

Blazit: Our distant friend, Dern, is in trouble!
Blazit:We need anyone to talk to Brumbee, the queen of this province!
Blazit: Dern is turning against Wynn.
Blazit: Brumbee can only make peace!

Talk to Brumbee in Llevigar.

Brumbee: Well, it's a visitor!
Brumbee: I understand Derns problem. Wynn was shipping them a ship of liquid Emerald but Dern never got it.
Brumbee: I believe you need 20 Emerald Blocks to enter the docks.
Brumbee: It was shipped from Maro Peaks.
Brumbee: Dern is going to die if Wynn goes to war!

Sailor: Our ship was traveling towards Dern when a beast can aboard and killed everyone but me!
Sailor: I think it crashed somewhere east of here. If you bring the liquid Emerald to the Gavel queen, maybe Dern will be saved!

Ship mobs:
Cannoneer: 150 hp, 70 dam., zombie
Pirate: 140 hp, 60-70 dam, zombie

Boss:
Beast: 2000 hp, 90 dam, skeleton
Drops 32 LE [ quest item ]

Brumbee: You saved Dern! Congratulations! You can have this.

REWARDS:
32 EB and 4000 xp

Aren't we thinking a bit too ahead...? Gavel hasn't even come out, yet you're already making a quest involving Dern.

 

All I can think of when I see the first name is 420.

* Only gets 32EB *

Please, do not necropost in a 3-week old thread to make advertisment...

 

Not only the fact that Dern will come out in like 2 years and we know nothing about it, This quest is really not detailed enough, What about builds? Custom items? Level? You see, Making a quest is not just thinking about something for 3 minutes and writing a dialog with an Npc, Also one of the biggest ways it could totally go wrong is because maybe it's totally different from what the staff members are planning for Dern because even they know nothing about it, It seems like you've made this quest with hope that it will become the main quest in Dern but there are so many ways that this could go totally wrong that I can make like 60 pages of it to explain this to you, So I just want you to understand, The thing you did here, It's not even 0.00001% of a normal quest, I really like the idea of Wynn going to war with Dern tho.

 

Yes I know others have already stated most of this.. but here is my take.
Just based off of the quest:
1. Your quest needs a name, an actual starting location, and what is the min level.
2. For Blazit he needs to have dialogue for if you are below the quest level.
3. The mobs hp and damage are impossible to say if they are good or not because they have no levels.
4. You should make it so the boss has a special spell, and again, level.
5. For the amount of Emearlds you get the amount of xp does not match.
6. Make it more interesting.
My opinions:
1. We know very little about Gavel.
2. This quest is kind of boring and short.
3. They haven't even finished Gavel yet, much less have a plan for Dern.
4. Why would Dern need money? From what we can speculate its a corrupted wasteland.
5. Same as above, Gavel would not call Dern its friend.

 

Dern is all corruption, with the Beasts. No one would save Dern.

I have spent alot of time in researching Dern (You can go to my profile and check the thread if you wish to check it out)

Dern does not seem to be uncivilized. It could be corrupted, but you much remember that according to WE D its alternate dimension is Darkness, Wynn is corruption. That does not mean the corruption did not spread to it, but no matter what, all provinces must be civilized in order to be separated. (I argue its inhabited by Endermen, but you may disagree)

I swear, am I the ONLY PERSON who actually puts time and effort into writing quests? My first one took 1.5 weeks and 10 pages on google docs.....
(There are other good quest-makers, just not a lot)

 

How will Wynn ship emeralds to Dern if it is said Dern is behind the Abandoned Mines?

Dern is south of Wynn, and there's no water to get to there, so how will emeralds be shipped? Mountain-climbing?
