Mage Fighter (class)

Ok, I wanted to suggest a Class for a future update after Gavel so here it is! (Wynncraft 'Dragon Slayers')

Introduction:
Mages that are born in Mage Island aren't just wand wielders, there are also mages that specialize in melee combat and use melee spells

Weapons: Your Bare Hands (You might need to invest your skill points in str if you want to be more powerful)

Spells:

Shockwave - Sends a rampaging force to groups of enemys (Right, Left, Left)
Dam: 50 - 100

Upgrade I:
Hunger: 4
Shockwaves: 1

Upgrade II: (Lvl to unlock, 11)
Hunger: 4
Dam: Increased 150%
+ Explosion, Once it hits a enemy, it will make them explode dealing 200% Damage

Upgrade III: (Lvl to unlock, 24)
Hunger: 4
Dam: Increased 100%
+ Earth's Fury, Casting shockwave will send 3 shockwaves on the same direction


Tornado Burst - Spiraling Winds of such speeds with surround you and blow foes away (Lvl to unlock, 15)
(Left, Right, Left)

Upgrade I:
Hunger: 5
Dam: 150 - 250

Upgrade II: (Lvl to unlock, 28)
Hunger: 5
Increased Damage by 100%
+ Heaven's Flight, Uppercuts the opponent and strikes them with great knockback dealing 280% damage

Upgrade III: (Lvl to unlock, 35)
Hunger: 5
Increased Damage by another 100%
+ Swiftness, grants you speed


Fire Dragon's Phoenix Blade - A Legendary spell which was said to destroy thousands of corrupted soldiers with intense heat (Headbutting through a thousand soldiers :P)
(Right, Left, Right)
(Lvl to unlock, 43)

Upgrade I:
Hunger: 8
Dam: 250 - 525

Upgrade II: (Lvl to unlock, 50)
Hunger: 9
Damage increased by 250%
+ Dragon's Flame, Sets ablaze a opponent for 10 seconds

Upgrade III: (Lvl to unlock, 63)
Hunger: 12
Damage increased BY 300%
+ Dragon's Edge, the spell will have it's damage increased again for a insane 500% and it will strike a chain of lightning after headbutting your opponent

Reason I had to add 3 Spells:
this class is OP, so I wouldn't add one more spell :P

 

Don't use "Mage" in the name of the class, because the name is too similar

If it's overpowered to the point where it needs to have fewer abilities than other classes to keep it balanced, it's not balanced. Fists can't be used as weapons; there's no way to assign boosted damage to fists without having all classes have these abilities available; these spells would need ridiculous amounts of spell damage because fists deal 1 damage. 150% of 1 is 1.5, rounds to 2. Needs serious reworking; completely nonviable at the moment.

 

I will try to rework on it :/

 

Maybe you could get a blaze powder so that it looks like a hand holding fire as the weapon

 

These are some names you could use instead of mage fighter: Priest, warlock, shaman, or druid.
And some things to balance the class would be decreasing the damage and give it a "moving spell" (teleport, charge, etc.)
The descriptions on the spells are also pretty short and don't give much information. For example "Shockwave - Sends a rampaging force to groups of enemys " doesn't say anything about what the spell looks like when you use it, the range, what particles it has (if it has any), or if it is an AOE move or another kind of attack style.

 

Shockwave will have the sprinting particles on whatever the ground is

hmmm... this sounds oddly familiar! Gee, I wonder what anime have I seen where the main character is a Fire Dragon Slayer that happens to use magic that mostly comes from his fists that has an attack similarly sounding to that named "Crimson Lotus Phoenix Blade" who looks astonishingly similar to the person in your profile picture, while your name is FireDrag0nSlayer, and the other 2 spells are similar to what other characters use in that anime as well that just happen to belong to "Dragon Slayers"! Gee, what ever could it be...

 

The "burn" is real.

 

Lets see.
1. I hate all class suggestions; Wynncraft doesn't need a new class.
2. Name too similar to Mage and also too long as all the other names are one word titles of their generic fighting style
3. Needs 4 spells and an actual weapon to keep in line with the other four. Also would just be boring with no unique weapons and only three spells.
4. Really on those spell names? The other sixteen spells are all just basic magic attacks and maneuver names.
5. Not balanced at all.
6. Spells too similar to that of warriors and not enough detail either.

 

YOU CANT EXACTLY "right right left" CLICK YOUR HANDS.. how do you open chests.. how do you trade?.. how do you duel.. how do you right click quest npcs.. merchants.. Freaking no bish!

You can't make a class signifigantly less interesting and have a much worse late-game, yet much better early-game than all other classes.
Just weaken the other abilities.

It if it only has 3 spells then it would not be equal with the other classes that have 4 spells making it unbalanced
