OH AND WALL OF TEXT INCOMING

Hey guys! This isn't my first suggestion here (I think) but I'm pretty sure this is my first very detailed suggestion.

Basically, raids in Wynncraft will be endgame content, meaning that it will be high level. It will include multiple puzzles and require a party of 4-8 players (There should be more social aspects in WC). Raids should be designed as a dungeon, but with more puzzles and fight mechanics. The game will not tell you what you will do, so your party will have to figure out the mechanics of the stage. Raids will also have very awesome loot that is specific from other quests (ie: they look different) I imagine that raids should be at level 75+ (or whatever the max level for Gavel is). The raid will start with a quest similar to ToA (The quest will start with a NPC and a background story). If all members of the party die, they will be teleported back to a checkpoint (still thinking about this). I tried to make the example raid possible with command blocks. Well, here's the example!

    New Commands
    Usable by players:
/party raid start - starts a raid when all party members are in the region specified by the quest. only usable by party leader
/party raid warp <player> - teleports a player in the party, but not in the raid, into the current encounter. only usable by party leader. has a one time use per encounter
/party raid reset - resets the party to the previous checkpoint, only usable by party leader
/party raid stop - stops the raid, but can continue later. only usable by party leader
/party raid continue <checkpoint number> - resumes a raid at a checkpoint. will only work if the party leader has the checkpoint availabe. only usable by party leader
/party raid delete - deletes all progress made in the raid. usable by party leader only

Usable by admins (Anyone with a red tag, eg: Salted, Grian):
/raid <off/on> - turns raids off or on.
-the reason why I put this command here, is that if something was glitched (for example, removing the wrong item or a mob having 1999 health instead of 9991 health) the admins could turn raids off so that more people wouldn't be affected by it.

    Corruption's End
    level 75 Raid, Hard

    NPC: Leris, in Troms

    Other Requirements:
-completed Reincarnation, ToL, and Wynn Excavation D quests
-luv grian (satire, not actual requirement)

    If not level 75:
Leris: You are not powerful enough. Come back when you have gathered your strength.

When level 75 AND HAVE DONE THE TOL, COMPLETED WYNN EXCAVATION QUESTLINE, AND REINCARNATION QUESTS:
Leris: Is that weapon you're holding... Did it come from Bob? I suspect so.
Leris: Anyways, I think that you would like to end the Corruption in Wynn.
Leris: Yes, you did defeat the Corrupter of Worlds. Yes, you have Bob's approval. Yes, you did kill some weird company from Gavel. But, the Corruption still has it's hold on Wynn.
Leris: Gather a party of 5 other players, and go to the Roots of Corruption. End this menace.
    [Quest started: Corruption's End]

(When you go to the Roots of Corruption with a party of 5 other players that are level 75 and have started the same quest, the game will teleport the party to a different world, similar to how war servers work.

Stage 1: Open the Corrupted Door [1]
In order to open the door, you will have to step on 3 plates (divide into 3 groups as the plates are 8-24 blocks apart) for 1 minute while holding off lvl 77 zombies named "Nether Guards". Once you open the door, you have 30 seconds to go in. There are 6 loot chests that are near the door inside that contains emeralds. After that, there is a parkour challenge (building theme should be similar to the nether).

Stage 2: Prove your Worth [2]
After the parkour, you will go into a room with a pressure plate near the entrance. Once someone steps on it, the encounter will begin. You will have to fight off lvl 79 zombies with the name "Gatekeeper's Minions" that have the Warrior's Charge spell. After 15 seconds, the game will teleport 2 random players into a different room that looks like Floor 2 of ToA. There will be 6 lvl 80 zombies named "Gatekeeper's Servants" as well as a lvl 85 wither skull named "Gatekeeper's Spirit". The 2 players that are teleported will have to kill the Servants first, than the Spirit. If the Spirit is killed first, it will respawn. The Spirit will drop a Nether Star named "Spirit's Force" once killed. The game will teleport the 2 players back to the others once the Spirit's Force is picked up. The Force will need to be put in a hopper (NOTE: There should be a item sorter with the hopper that will only allow the Spirit's Force to be accepted). 2 more Forces need to be dropped in the hopper for the door that leads to the next Encounter to open (you need 3 Forces to open the door). After the Force is dropped into the hopper, 2 random players will be teleported again and the cycle will begin again until 3 Forces have been dropped into the hopper.

Stage 3: Traverse the Hallway of Lost Magic [3]
[Previously a maze] So to get to the next stage you need to walk through a hallway. Easy, right? NOPE BECAUSE THERE WILL BE MONSTERS IN YOUR WAY. So to make this more interesting, you have to fight off hordes of lvl 79 skeletons named "Fallen Warriors/Archers/Mages/Assassins" (some have the first class spells you unlock). However, there will be a lvl 82 mooshroom (get the reference? anyone?) and a gate blocking your path to the next part of the hallway. You have to kill the mooshroom in order to get to the next part of the hallway. Once you kill the mooshroom there are 2 more parts just like this one to get to the next stage.
    lvl 82 King's Guard
    mob type: Mooshroom
    HP: 20,000
ATK: 999-999 (has ranged attack with particles similar to Mage's attack)

after that there is a small parkour challenge with the building theme of ToA's floor 7

Stage 4: Throne of Corruption [4]
Here's the boss fight people! the real one! There's some dialogue first though:

King of Corruption: You dare challenge me?
King of Corruption: I have corrupted multiple worlds, and you have barely began to reach for the stars!
King of Corruption: Your magic ends here!

    King of Corruption
    Mob type: Giant
HP: 500000 (needs adjusting, need feedback)
    ATK: (need feedback for this)
Spell: Spin Attack, with some extra cosmetic stuff
    Extra thing: can't move around

So the KoC is in the middle of the room. at first you won't be able to damage him effectively (you can damage him, but it won't be much). After the encounter starts, the room will have lvl 85 mobs called "King's Servants". After 20 seconds, the 2 players closest to the King will be teleported to a room. That room will have lvl 85 mobs called "Corrupted Warrior", "Corrupted Archer", "Corrupted Mage", and "Corrupted Assassin" with the class's 3rd spell at level 1. There will also be a mob "Corrupted Bob" that will drop a splash potion of Strength (buffed so that its OP) once killed. Once the splash potion of strength has been detected to be inside a player's inventory, the 2 players will be teleported back to the other players. The splash potion of Strength should be used when all members of the party are close by so they have the effect as well. The mobs in the boss room (that isn't the boss) will despawn for the duration of the splash potion so that the party can focus their DPS on the KoC. After the potion's effect is gone the King's Servants will start to spawn again and the cycle will repeat until the King is dead. After the party kills the King, the party will receive an item called "King's Echoes".

Once the King is dead, the party will be teleported back to the main game world in front of the Roots of Corruption. Also, if there is any strength potions (the one you get from killing the Corrupted Bob) in any of the party members' inventories, it will be removed shortly before teleporting. (thx @Keeko100)

    After completing the raid:
    Leris: Oh my god!
    Leris: You.. You killed him?
Leris: The province of Wynn, as well as the stars beyond, thanks you.
    [Quest completed]

    Rewards:
    20 LE (need feedback)
    EXP (working on amount)
    Leris' Approval
    Raid armor set

You can use Leris' Approval to buy your raid weapon at a weapon merchant near the Roots of Corruption. I'm still working on the stats for it, though.

    Raid Weapons
    Bow: Corrupted Oak Bow
    Spear: Corrupted Oak Spear
    Dagger: Corrupted Oak Dagger
    Staff: Corrupted Oak Wand

    And some other community-donated names:

    (@Wraith132)
    "Corruption's Vile Bow - Hunter

The Wand of the Void - Mage

    Spear of Oblivion - Warrior

    Corrupted Lacertators - Assassin"

Seems pretty nice so far. However one thing to change is the boss. Did you see Igbar's boss suggestion? They are adding this to wynn, so it would be nice that the boss had that and there were no mob spawning in the boss room. Also how fast are the wither skeletons? Since they could sneak up on you there should be a spawnpoint.

Yes, it is. I tried to make the stages a better encounter than the ones you see in the other dungeons. (eg: in the 1.12 Zombie Dungeon, you could run through some of the encounters, mainly the battle ones)

Actually, the game will give you the most xp if you are closer to its level, so don't expect an OP amount of xp from it xD
I don't really want to be a GM because of time constraints, but i'll remove Stage 3 for revision.

The idea sounds really good and well-thought-out but I think it shouldnt be only for endgame but for midgame (past 50) too so this people can lvl up a bit faster

I do agree with you, but there are still a couple of quests and mini dungeons that can get you to higher levels.

I do see your reasoning, but levels 50-70/80 will not take that long to grind out, because if what Grian says is true, then there will be a lot of quests (most likely 40+) and I don't expect my idea to even be considered until maybe a few weeks or months after Gavel is released.

However, I wouldn't mind raids to be introduced at midgame.
