I lost a chestnut today to a accidental drop. If this works on horses, I gotchu bruh.

i would like to suggest into the suggestion: do that you can lock every item, not just weapons and armor.

It will really help me because i keep all of my collectables on my main class and it would be a shame if one day i accidently drop one of them

 

Somebody has not read the thread clearly! But that's ok it says that you can lock everything but quest items and untradeables if your collection is non trade able keep it in your bank

Well wynn does already have item protection so if you drop it it will be not pick upable by anyone

 

@thatswhatido dude this is an awsome idea but one thing bothers me..
you say its free to lock and unlock items and that looks like a problem for me...
i suggest something like this:

for a normal item:
4 emeralds to lock
2 emeralds to unlock

for a unique item:
10 emeralds to lock
6 to unlock

for a special item:
32 emeralds to lock
21 emeralds to unlock

for a rare item:
45 emeralds to lock
58 emeralds to unlock

for a legendery item:
2 blocks to lock
1 block to unlock



but its just my opinion
so numbers can change....
but still it has to cost something...
its not fair to lock you loved items for free.

but after some time it is pickupable by anyone
+ if you lets say accedentially dropped your weapon while in a dungeon and you will probably die without a weapon you will get kicked out of the dungeon and you will not get your weapon back

 

this has been suggested to be many times but its u to the devs if they want it to be paid locking they will add it that way but if they want it to be how it is they will do it that way

so your tellin me you have never lost an item to a bug or dropping it in lava or being in a bob fight getting one shot and accidently dropping your items

 

I remember how you had about three posts and something on the order of three hundred likes because of this one post.

As someone who randomly had Bob's Mythic Bow disappear out of their inventory, I 100% agree with this.

I agree, in gavel finding the best items will be much harder, and if I accidentally lose my weapon I grinded 2 months for... I'd probably rage quit for a week at least :/


This idea is really nice and I don't think it's that hard to do because it's just adding a single line to an item but would be nice if some staff member explained if it's hard or easy to do and why is this not in game yet..

well I do know of mods but I'm not sure they have seen it before
