Zombie Eyes

I need almost a stack of zombie eyes for a quest. now i am looking for them but there nowere to get.
I tried killing the zombies and differend mobs that were sad to drop them by wiki. But after killed over 100 of them I still didn't get one. any ideas to get them?

i already did also killed the dead miners infrond of the town

i just got some aparandly there are 4 places to find rotten zombies and only 1 of them actualy gives the eyes

If you go into the caves towards the jungle village, there are zombies and mobs that drop them.
You can also kill the jungle fetishes for eyes.
I want to point out they don't have a high drop rate, I had to kill around 400 to get the 48 eyes. You just need to be patient.

 

those little knife trowing zombies (can't remember their name) have like a 50% chance to drop it. just try to farm those, you''ll get you stack in no time ;)

 

Jungle fetishes, tribe zombies, and rotting zombies are the only ones who will drop them, the dead miners won't btw
