    I believe it's 10k, but it may also be 5k.

    That was after constantly pestering the staff and whining for months on end, IIRC.

    Probably quicker and easier to get 300 subs, as long as he aims to continue this channel

    Hippie got it early because hippie is dank, glitched I'm not sure.. I think the req. for youtuber was 5k though for normal people.

    5k subs is nothing these days. Increase the limit, and remove the current low-sub youtubers. They are overrated.

    You guys were talking about how many subs it requires to get the YT rank and saying that Glitched got it early just because of him whining, but in reality, he had more subs than Hippie when he got the YT rank, so it's understandable if he deserved it longer, then someone with less subs got it first. Also, if you didn't know, Hippie got YT rank because Shtafjord said to Grian that he should give him the YT rank. Regardless of what happened, that's besides the point. The point is that the amount of subs you need for YT rank is nowhere near 10K, if these two youtubers got it as 3k or 4k.

    You said it yourself; Hippie got it by recommendation, and Glitched got if from constant whining. Neither got it because they had the amount of subs typically required, but because they forced themselves into it.
