Hi there time for your annually reminder of classic Wynncraft teleport shenanigans and how funny and fun and wacky and goofy and not at all terrible and inconsistent in the slightest

(Also because 2.1 is probably going to either discontinue or outright just remove most if not all old mob spells so now's my last time to do this)

Hi anyways yes time to talk about how cool and engaging and sick and radical it is as a mob spell

Like how it auto insta-tracks the player no matter how fast they move, effectively making the heavy teleport spell absolutely unavoidable to anyone that isn't in vanish!!!

Oh btw in case people don't actually know (because I know that people think that the teleport spell just causes blindness no matter what) there's actually two different teleport spells, regular teleport and heavy teleport

Here are the differences, heavy teleport has additional smoke particles



...not that those matter, given that you'll be blinded no matter how fast you are anyway LMAO

Anyways remember when PZ had a spell chain that included a section spamming teleport like five hundred times followed by a wave spell that was casted pretty much instantly?



Back then there was only like a 0.1s delay between the teleport spam and wave and Panic Zealot also didn't have immunity to the WalkingAngleVariant attribute so it'll be facing offset in a random angle relative to the player's direction

in other words the teleport direction is pretty much random

Lol yeah imagine avoiding that move consistently oh boy that's a oneshot right there

Also minor nitpick but GOD the Lantern Keeper is the most annoying miniboss for short-ranged classes

Been so blindsided by being blinded that I never noticed the extra particles in heavy teleport.
Also glad to see the continuation of the hate for panic zealot doing that
