Xp Bonus

So I have a
22% speaker,
32% papyrus,
5% leggings,
33% bad wolf,
31% jester neck,
32% jester bracelet,
30% jester ring,
7% ring.
That gives me 122% xp bonus. But for some reason, my 37% sage doesn't go towards my xp bonus.
Can someone tell me if this is a bug, or is there a way to fix those?

 

I"m assuming it works, you just can't both hover over your staff and use the compass to see the stats at the same time. But if its that there's no noticeable change between the xp you get while using sage and another wand, then i dunno.

 

Weapon stats only affect you if you are holding the weapon. When you are holding the compass, they don't show up.
