Xp Armor In Quests

Before I invest in a set of XP armor, since I'm an archer (it will drop my health a lot), does XP armor give you extra XP when you finish quests? Or does it only give you extra XP from killing mobs?

 

Only from killing mobs and completing dungeons. Doesn't work with quests, sorry

 

It used to but then they nerfed it, so no xp armor, xp potion, xp food, xp scrolls, xp bombs and double xp weekend does not affect quest xp gains as far as I know.

 

Oh damn. That sucks. Not worth investing in then...

 

Actually, if you've reached level 85, you could start doing CIB parties. It's where a lot of people gather on one world, to then do runs of Corrupted Ice Barrows. You usually won't have to damage, and can get pretty easy dungeon runs with high xp armor that way, and level up really fast.

Even still, if you're below that level, wearing a few pieces of xp armor will help massively with grinding levels, so I do recommend picking up some cheap xp gear along the way somewhere.

 

quests are pretty slow way to get xp, xp sets are pretty much are bought to do cib or dragonling cave.

 

What about someone my level, level 55. Is there any point? Another question: do you get extra xp when you do dungeons?

do herb cave as level 55 (near troms) it gives a lot of xp.

Quests are one of the quickest ways to get xp, if you can find a faster way that isn't practically cheating by doing CIB, I would like to see it.

 

Just a reccomendation, if you just want some good xp bonus on the side without affecting your stats much, it's pretty easy to find 2 good xpbonus Rarity rings on the market or here on the forums. Plus, due to them getting farmed massively a bit ago, their price is relatively low even for good ones.

 

How much do you reckon for 2? I'm only level 60, not planning to spend over 2 LE lol

 

Cib isn't cheating, isn't even breaking any rules, literally just running dungeons. If the guy wants to use his xp gear to the fullest the of course he should do dungeons (like cob) or grind in herb cave. Grinding herb cave/running dungeons with a good xp set is way faster than doing quests. Quests aren't even affected by xp bonus so the xp set wouldn't even do anything. Please don't mislead, quests are not the quickets, and doing dungeons is not cheating. Also liked how you ignored that grind spots like herb ccae and dragongling exists which dragongling is actually faster than cib in terms of xp.

 

"Don't mislead" - I'm starting to think you didn't read what I put properly, I said they are "one of the quickest ways to get xp", which they are. I liked how I ignored herb cave and dragonling too, becuase they#re not as effective as some of the higher quests, especially droguns and dwarves, which netted me a lot of xp and I did them within 1.5 hours.

 

So far, ive been following everything that has been said in this thread and i am now level 70.

Basically i did all my quests then bought xp armor and grinded herb cave with mob totems. Pretty easy especially when you grind the ember mobs. I now grind at the temple of legends so yeah

 

you could probably get two very meh ones for 2le total but that's still at least a boost of like 20 xpbonus

 

Dragonling cave is easily able to boost you to 104 in a couple of hours and gets you to 103 in like 1 hour. These grind spots are better than some dungeons like dragonling, quests aren't even effected by xp armor, so buying xp armor for quests is literally worthless. (Which was what the op was asking for)

I'm going to disagree with you about the grind spots being better than quests and dungeons, some quests perhaps. But CIB is a lot quicker imo.
