SPOILER Wynntheory Kind Of? Light Is Darker Than We Think!

Not sure who posted this before(pillowpet i think) but they were in the light's secret area or something and found a seed of corruption. I'm not really one for long starting things so I'll just say what I think:

Maybe the Light is the originator of corruption, but it has some kind of immunity, and the seed somehow leaked into the portal in Wynn, which could have once been a flourishing dimension with cool stuff. When the seed of corruption leaked into the Wynn portal, it had a different effect than the Light dimension had. The dimension now known as the nether could have not had the same immunity to corruption that the Light dimension has, with negative impact.
