Sunset Assault

Cedric♂: I’ve been looking for you!
Sull♂: Are you a soldier?
Cedric♂: You’re damn right I am. You're under arrest! (Battle stance)
Sull♂: That's too bad. I was hoping I wouldn't have to kill any children.

Both of them charge toward each other.

Cedric stabs consecutively with his spear, but is dodged quickly.

The man grabs the spear and snaps the blade off from the handle.

Cedric grabs the falling blade and stabs his left shoulder. It connects.

The man pulls out the blade from his shoulder and charges. He uses his right hand to attack.

Cedric claps and connects the palm of his right hand with the man’s right palm.

Electricity and flames illuminate each other’s hands.

The man’s right arm goes limp.​

Sull♂: (Jumps back) What? What did you do?
Cedric♂: How's it feel to have the nerves in your hand locked up?

A loud boom comes from behind Cedric.​

Cedric♂: What now!

Ragni | Eastern Streets | Sunset | 6:01 PM​

Soldier♀: Everyone, get in your houses! It's not safe in the open!

Citizens rush into nearby houses.​

Ragni | Eastern Gate | Right Archer Bridge | Sunset | 6:02 PM​

A glowing arrow is shot high in the air toward Ragni.

Trina aims and fires at the arrow.

The arrow splits into two before Trina’s arrow connects.

The two arrows split into smaller arrows and those arrows split into smaller ones until they become like a shower of rain.

They fall toward the soldiers warning the citizens.​

Trina♀: I-I can’t hit them all.

On the streets.​

Russ♂: (Sprinting) Outta the way! (Puts his hands up in the air)

Electricity crackles from Russ’ hands into the air, destroying the falling arrows.​

Russ♂: Soldiers, gather the Guard Golems and counter the enemies that are going to enter the gate! I’ll handle the arrow showers!

Emerald Trail | Near Ragni | Sunset | 6:03 PM​

Cultist♂: I’ll create more ranged attacks. You all go on ahead.
Cultist #2♂: Good luck. We’ll make sure to not get in your way.

Wheeled cages holding undead are pulled by the cultists.​

Ragni | Sewers | Sunset | 6:03 PM​

Cedric♂: Who the hell is here now?

A cultist holding a canister comes through the blown-up hole. ​

Grem♂: Looks like I arrived at the wrong time.

The man pushes Cedric to the side and walks toward the cultist.​

Grem♂: I know you. You’re one of the higher-ups. I’ve seen you during the operation.
Sull♂: My name’s Sull. You are indeed correct about my position. I was sent here upon orders to kill those who betrayed the operation and those who find out about it.
Grem♂: Covering it up, I see. However, looks like you're going to fail your little mission, though. (Touches wall) I don't plan on dying right now.

Spikes appear out of the floor and aim toward Sull.

Sull jumps back to dodge them.​

Grem♂: And by the way. (Opens canister and throws to the side) It’s not a bright idea to use sparks and flames. I know that you use Fire magic because you used it to incinerate my friends.
Cedric♂: (Thoughts) Do these two know each other? I don't even know what's going on anymore.

The wall next to Cedric opens up and a hand pulls him in.

The wall closes.​

Cedric♂: Who-
Waront♂: (Whispering) Shh. Be quiet or they'll hear us.

Ragni | Eastern Gate | Sunset | 6:08 PM​

The Soldiers and the cultists clash with spears and daggers.

The Guard Golems smash through their defensive stances.

Trina shoots down unsuspecting targets.​

Cultist♂: Release them!

The cultists open the cages that were containing the undead.

An Assassin Zombie runs up the wall of the Archer Bridge and charges a spell attack.

Trina shoots it down as soon as it reaches the top.​

Trina♀: These things are learning how to use magic now?

A Warrior Zombie is evenly matched with a Guard Golem in terms of strength.

A second Golem punches it in its back, killing it.

The soldiers overpower the cultist forces.

Further down the trail.​

Cultist♂: I need to do something. (Pulls bow string and aims upward)

An arrow shot by Trina pierces through his forehead, killing him.​

Ragni | Sewers | Hidden Room | Sunset | 6:06 PM​

Waront♂: (Whispering) It's best not to get involved with them. They seem like a great deal of trouble.

Cedric peers through a small crack in the wall.

The cultist takes out a green-coloured potion and crushes it in his left claw.

The potion is absorbed into his skin.​

Sull♂: Your hand.
Grem♂: What? You've been too busy killing to see what I really am? (Takes off cloak)

His left arm is a claw. He has a serpent-like tail. And the left side of his body is the skin of a lizard’s.​

Sull♂: Half-Villager, half-lizard.
Cedric♂: What! A chimera!
Waront♂: (Whispering) Your voice! Keep it down!
Cedric♂: (Thoughts) I need to find out if he knows anything!

The two men charge at each other.​
