    Hey everyone!

So I've been working on a small mod for myself, and decided I'd like to share it.
I call it the Level Buddy, and it is a part of a "modpack" I like to call WynnPlus, the reason I put quotes around modpack is because at the moment it is a standalone mod and will never be a part of an actual modpack, but instead will eventually become one of many standalone mods all falling under the title of WynnPlus.

Before I go any further I'd like to say that this mod does require forge however it DOES NOT require curse/twitch, despite being hosted on the curseforge website.
It is also only compatible with minecraft version 1.11.2 at the moment so I realise not many people will be able to use it, however functionality for previous versions (as far back as 1.8.9) will be added as updates to the mod are released.

    CURSEFORGE PROJECT LINK
To install it, simply place it into the mods folder inside your %appdata%/.minecraft directory, it will automatically download the most up to date mob data file.

You might be wondering what it does, so I'll tell you.
When you load the game up with the mod installed you will find a bunch of red text in the top left, this will display a mob, it's level in square brackets, and the average amount of exp you obtain from killing that mob in parenthesis, it is worth noting that the exp mentioned DOES scale with your level, so while you are level 5 a mob also at level 5 might display a different exp value than when you are level 10.

Under the mob details you will see a remaining kills line, this line will tell you how many of that mob you need to kill to reach the next level, please note that this takes into account the number in the parenthesis above, so it does include level scaling.

All of the above can be seen in the screenshot below:
Please note the tilde next to the exp and remaining kills, these numbers are only supposed to be estimates/averages, so will not be 100% accurate.

In order to change the selected mob, you will need to press V (which can be changed in the controls options), this will then load up the mob selection list, it will display 10 buttons along with an update list button at the bottom, and next/previous page buttons.
As expected, pressing the next/previous page buttons will display a different set of 10 buttons.
Pressing the update list button will force a refresh of the mob data and update the displayed list to reflect this refresh.

As before, all of the new information above can be seen in the screenshot below:

Now in terms of automatically updating, when you log into WynnCraft the mod will automatically check to see if it is the most recent version, and if it isn't then it will let you know which version is the most up to date.
It also checks to see if there should be an update to the mob data file, which is where all of the names/levels/exp data is held, this is handled a little differently because if it detects that your copy is out of date, then it will automatically download the most recent version of this file unlike the mod update checking, clicking the update list button in the mob selection list will do the same thing, it will download the most up to date mob data file.

The mod currently supports 39 mobs, spanning between level 3 and level 47, with most mobs being between level 10 and level 20.

That's pretty much it in terms of functionality at the moment, I will be updating the forum post/curseforge page with information as the mod is updated.

Also, while I appreciate that most people will find this pretty much useless, I believe there must be a small group of people out there that might find some use in this.

Thanks for reading/downloading, if you have any issues or suggestions then I'd be glad to help/hear them :D
