Wynnic Resource Pack

So the Wynn resource pack changed the font; would it be possible to completely change the symbols; like retexturing things to look like wynnic?

Yes. you would have to edit the font file in the resource pack folder.

Yes, but there's only a limited amount of characters in the texture pack, and I don't know if there's a way to add more.

 

Replacing the letters with wynnic takes only like 2 seconds. Just find the folder where the fonts are located in the resource pack and rename "ascii_sga" into "ascii". Simple as that.

Limited amount, yes, but still over a hundred image files containing symbols such as chinese, japanese, russian, arabic etc.

 

don't forget unicode.

 

I was just giving examples of stuff that takes lots of space. Unicode's just a third of one file. I guess you could use unicode as an easy toggle between real chat and wynnic tho

The point was that, even if you added Wynnic to the image files without replacing anything else, would mc even be coded to use those symbols?

EDIT: Well shit, there's actually a lot more symbols in the ascii.png than I thought. Sorry about that, I should've checked before posting.
