Tool Wynncraft Stats on NekoNameTags

NekoNameTags 0.1.10 is getting close to release.

This update will introduce Wynncraft stats support. When the feature is enabled and you are playing on Wynncraft servers, NekoNameTags will be able to show Wynncraft-related player information directly through the name tag display.

What is NekoNameTags?

NekoNameTags is a cross-platform system that improves how player name tags appear in multiplayer environments. Instead of only showing a basic name above a player, it allows additional information to appear as part of the name tag. This can include roles, ranks, supporter tags, status indicators, or other dynamic information.

The goal is to give communities a flexible way to display identity and useful information above players while keeping a consistent experience across different platforms.

Client-Side Mod

NekoNameTags works entirely as a client-side mod. Servers do not need to install anything for it to work. Players can use it on supported servers without requiring server-side plugins or modifications.

Features

Customizable Name Tags
Player names can be styled with colors, formatting, and additional information.

Multi-Line Information
Name tags can display multiple lines, allowing things like community roles, supporter status, or other information to appear above a player.

Dynamic Information
Name tags can display live or changing information such as status indicators, activity information, or supported integrations.

Animations

NekoNameTags also supports animated name tags. Current animations include rainbow color transitions and typing-style effects. More animation types are planned for future updates to expand customization options.

A Bit of History

NekoNameTags originally started back in 2023 during the time when Easy Anti-Cheat was deployed on VRChat. That update effectively shut down the modding ecosystem that many communities had built around the game.

Before that change, the Hall Mod Team had created many popular VRChat mods that people enjoyed using, and NekoNameTags was one of the projects people really liked.

After VRChat modding ended, the project did not disappear. Instead, development shifted toward other platforms.

Later in 2023, the system was brought into ChilloutVR (CVR), where it actually saw even more success and adoption within the community.

In 2024, NekoNameTags was successfully ported into Resonite.

Then in 2025, the system was brought into Minecraft, which is the version many people are now starting to see.

Future Plans

The long-term goal is to keep expanding NekoNameTags into more multiplayer platforms.

and other supported games as development continues.

The idea behind the project has always been simple: provide a shared name tag system that communities can use across different games and social platforms without losing their identity.
