Media Wynncon, Should It Be A Private Server?

In our secret underground bunker, the WynnCon team thinks we should do a private server for more people. What do you think? Please comment down below. Remember, WynnCon wasn't created without the help of you!

jk lol, but I think it should be in the main server itself since, well, WYNNcon. Also, might i suggest not having it in Gavel since WYNNcon

 

Worlds only hold 60 people. We're hoping around 200-300 people show up.

Oh my god what the hell I thought this was just going to be a small meeting. Well, in that case you're kinda ruling out any other options, so I guess private server.

 

Nope, WynnCon is going to be a huge multi-day event.

 

Damn. Well, my vote is certainly in private server now.

 

Well, you will not listen to speakers on servers anyways, but on ts i guess.
Just hold it on various worlds.

 

I'd love if the staff team got in on this and built an area with player shop stands, pvp arenas, speaker areas, etc and opened a server with that to hold 300 players.

 

You do realize how long that would take, right...?

 

With dedicated builders like Wynn has, probably two days are so, though I have no idea. Just assuming 16 hours for multiple people to build something wouldn't be too difficult.

 

1. Builders have lives, spending 16 hours on building something that lasts for a few days isn't the best use of time.
2. Quality is also a factor. I could build a small platform out of planks and say "good enough".
3. It's an unofficial event, getting the build team to even do this would probably be.. Difficult.

 

I said it would be nice, not that it was the most reasonable :P

Private server would be great for wynncon in my opinion.

We will be able to house a good few players and maybe ( note I said maybe) make a few sets for it.

Why should the staff build specifically and only for this event and no others. After all this is just like any other event members create so therefore it does not deserve special treatment, there should be no favouritism

 

Already on it b0ss :3 I don't think upgrading a server to 300+ players would work tho XD

We never said anything about how many people will show up. And quite frankly, 200-300 people showing up is a bit far fetched dontcha' think?
