Welcome to Wynn News! Where today we will be discussing how two Youtubers have started a Wynncraft series with Grian, a request for any skin makers on the forums, and more so stay tuned...

Youtubers Make Wynncraft Series!



Recently, Youtubers samgladiator and Taurtis have started filming a youtube series over Wynncraft with Grian. Sam has 1,002,959 subscribers, and Taurtis has 269,340 subscribers. Their first video was posted on Taurtis's channel here:



The second one was posted three days ago. Players are hoping for more players to be brought to the community as a result of these videos.

Forum Statistics Since The Gavel Update Posted In Thread



Recently, our very own @Grimmcat has posted a thread showing the forum statistics from before the Gavel Update to the present. The thread can be shown here:

The thread shows a sharp increase in the amount of threads posted and the amount of messages posted since the Gavel Update. The thread also shows a gradual increase in the amount of members that have joined and (surprise) shows a sharp drop in the amount of forumers online since the Update.

Wanted: Skin Creators!



Not too long ago, Wynncraft Artist and Moderator, Love Lusting, posted a thread requesting for experienced Skin Creators to help create the new armor skins for the follow-up update!

30/30 Relics Found!



Recently, @vulplus has become the first person to discover all 30 relics in Wynncraft! His announcement can be found here:

In his thread he lists the locations of every relic in the provinces. He also states that he is creating a "Wynn Relic Squad" in which those who have found each relic in the game can join the team.

In the thread, Builder, @Lotem , mentioned how more relics would be added in the near future. (Most likely in the follow-up update).

I have to say something about this youtube thing, and i know i might get hate-

It could bring in toxic players, you have seen how they responded to Igbars video trolling Grian?

But lets hope they are chill, we dont want toxic players

Totally agree with you. I mean if you look at some servers that have 40k players, the amount of players doesn't necessarily compensate for the toxicity of their community.

Exactly! and i know this might be rude, but generally, a large minecraft youtuber tends to have toxic players. I mean, look at sky, bajan and all those other people. we can only wait and see

 

Youtubers may bring toxic scrubs in..... but a higher player count leads to not-as-toxic scrubs finding the server in methods other than youtube?

then maybe toxic scrubs get bored and leave?!!?

I'm a moderator for a newer and very fast growing Youtuber's Twitch chat and SMP server, and let me tell you that there are still a lot of toxic players even with a relatively smaller fanbase.

 

I know, I'm just saying generally bigger is more toxic, but bigger minecrafters = more toxic, but that isnt true for all. Like RageGaming, he is actually has a pretty chill fanbase

 

Yeah, a lot of fans of PeteZahHutt come onto the server I moderate for, considering it's his girlfriend's server and they collab a lot. I've had to mute and ban so many people for vulgarity, profanity, and disrespect towards other players. Earlier today I wasn't even awake for 30 minutes and I had to perma-ban 2 people for various reasons.

 

Another great news release, great job to my fellow news workers c: and I hope our readers enjoy!!

 

Its not the player amount, its not the quality of the game, EVERY game will eventually have toxic players. You can't stop it. Wynn was OK pre-gavel because the majority of players were nice and kind, and they got filtered out. I suppose that is the ONLY way.

 

Let's just hope this doesn't hurt the servers community too much

Hell, look at servers as seemingly pure as ours and Hypixel, partially toxic. Mineplex? Toxic. Badlion? Toxic.
