Wynn/gavel Corruption

can somebody explain to me how there is governmental corruption in wynn and gavel? I've heard talk about it but never understood. Thanks

 

Wrong kind of corruption, though Villagers are indeed corrupt in the greedy sense.

 

The term "Corruption" typically refers to the mixing of light and dark creating an undead effect, not referring to the government. In the sense you are asking about, Wynn Excavation has turned many Wynn governments into pawns for finding ancient crystals. Wynn excavation themselves are a society of the high and mighty of Gavel who worship "the eye" (I could spent hours just explaining what that is) and want to harness the crystals of the ancients

It's not irrelevant if his question was literally about governmental corruption. King of Troms with WynnExe, King of Ragni with the rebellion...

 

His question was about governmental corruption because he'd heard talk of corruption. It's not relevant because it's highly likely that when he wanted to know about corruption, he really meant the Corruption, not anything to do with the governments.
