Purely combat thread time for wynncraft 2!!

inspired by a 12am one-take video i did with @touhoku




MANA
- I'm assuming it's being multiplied by 5 for a base of 100 (quite a safe assumption ngl) (now confirmed)
- ways to increase it- Ability Tree? IDs? Or both? (probably both) OR maybe int increases mana instead of reducing spellcosts...

- suspiciously low spellcosts at times but guess something's balancing them
- mana regenning faster than 1/sec but that's understandable w new cap (guessing 1/.2sec)

ARCHETYPES
- some warrior uppercut blue particle thing that's too generic to call imo
- archer sniping thing is ABSOLUTELY sharpshooter the framing of the shot lmao
- didn't say this in the video but I think trapper's going to suck, what content is there where you want to lead mobs in? Also -50% spell mult (unless that's just a sign of greater spell mult adjustment?)
- Corruption bar & casting spells w/ health (not necessarily linked) is 10000% both fallen warrior like clearly
- the 1 mana part and negative mana seems to be a bug, probably just health cost and intended to be at 0 mana

- Archer grappling hook!!
- triple green (homing) laser as a melee attack archer probably the 3rd unnamed archer archetype unless it's sharpshooter but no way is a class called sharpshooter getting triple laser beams so if it is then wtf
- Assassin walljumping without spells?

- Arcane mage - Burst spell ig
<- archetypeless (confirmed)
- Trickster has clones that can mirror attacks (with penalty)
- I think the warrior in the dark scene is quite possibly the unnamed spell warrior, you can see mana whatevers floating around and the spellcosts are low (unless my read is off and that's just something else)
- Assassin uses dash :eyes:
- Some kind of "Focus" resource - predicting it's sharpshooter exclusive (bc focus in wow)

I mean on the one hand, yeah maybe
But on the other hand, it doesn't say that it replaces bomb arrow nor does it say anything about having an arming period so it's entirely possible that it's just a free extra 200% damage to bomb arrow

 

but then you lose the potential other upgrade/upgrade tree

so what i said stands due to opportunity cost

I NEVER noticed Touhoku's pfp was a Noctowl. I just thought it was purple

 

Honestly that'd probably be useful considering how terrible Archer's group killing capability is until you get it
Could just be a typo though

 

They already confirmed this: 100 base mana and int increases it. (+base spell costs are multiplied with 5)
If it stays like that int will be quite useless since in longer battles your base mana doesn't matter, you just need high enough mana sustain to keep spamming spells. 0 int will be even more meta than it is now.
