Woods

Whenever I enter woods around Gelibord I crash every other minute. This makes it impossible to do the "Finding the Light" quest. I have a decent computer and good connection. I don't crash on any other server. I either crash or freeze on this one. Freezing is worse cause I have to restart my computer and log back in only to find out that I have died....

For the minute I am walking around the forest. I am usually encountering extreme lag. Notice this doesn't happen anywhere else.... Well it happens in the Nivilla Forest too, but I don't go there anymore.

 

Anyone have a solution?

 

I would suggest decreasing your graphic settings in the game, though I'm not sure it'll work.

 

Maybe change your video settings from Fancy to Fast?
Also, you say you have a decent PC, so how much FPS do you have on average?

 

My solution is this. Install Optifine -> Video Settings -> Animations -> Animated Terrain -> Off
A lot of the items (like the "energy" that is animated on the Mythic weapons) use this to make their textures animated. This has boosted my fps by so much >_>

 

Or u could allocate more ram to minecraft
