Mage/Dark Wizard Help Wondering how you guys plan builds?

Hi,

I've been absent from the server for a few years and this time I'm actually trying to be a better player and was wondering how people plan builds without having every item in the game memorized. Are their any tools to help, or is it genuinely just knowing what goes well together and what gear to gather?

Sry if the answer is written somewhere else, I'm a noob when it comes to forums.

 

I personally use Wynncraft’s item guide and wynnbuilder to make builds, but yeah you really only need a good grasp of the current meta-game items and wing it lol.
I say only but it took me a month or so to understand builds and shit. Now with 2.1 released I’m just not gonna touch it for a couple month so that meta can settle down. (Like rn crabs are meta in almost every build Xd)
I mean just talking with people who know what they’re doing also helps (not me)

but yea you really dont need to know that many items, i find no issues using wynnatlas for items (although since its new patch official wynn item guide is probably better to use for now)

 

Im lvl 70 rn and I just followed a build someone else created but I want to make sure as I level past 80 and stuff I still know how to pick good things for Lightbringer Mage. So just use the item guide and sort for what I want?

Id like to know how they knew these were the best items to collect to make the build.

 

During leveling you basically want the most amount of exp bonus in the level range while having the strongest/most exp weapon in the range. There are also variations within the level ranges for cheaper builds or for more survivability depending on the request

items like purified helmet of the legends are generally good for leveling while being pretty cheap

 

pretty standard you just have to go through some builds i used to be trash at making builds and i didnt know anything but now when i kept searching and looking at builds it gives u an idea of whats meta and what items do waht after that its just a matter of testing in wynnbuilder to see what you like the most Like for example im looking through weath builds then i know what kind of items i need for a weath build if i wanna make my own then just test the items to see which gives the best results for u its just a matter of learning
