Spoiler: What the formatting and stuff means

The number of filled in stars before an item's level relates to the quality of the identifications of that item (not how good the item is itself). Unidentified items will always have 0/10 filled in stars.

The colour of the stars before an item represents the distribution of elemental attributes that appear on the item, such as:
Earth: Earth damage, strength, melee damage, poison, thorns
Thunder: Thunder damage, dexterity, high attack speed tier/+tier, melee damage (usually raw)
Water: Water damage, intelligence, spell damage, mana regen, mana steal, reflection
Fire: Fire damage, defense, high HP, HP regen, elemental defense, life steal, thorns/reflection, exploding
Air: Air damage, agility, walk speed, high attack speed, reflection
Rainbow: Damage or defense in every element, often high HP
Reward: XP bonus, loot bonus, stealing, soul point regen
If you are looking for a non-specific item for a build, you can scan the elemental guide for colours relevant to the build you are making to assist with this process.
