Why Should I Join A Guild?

Hello, new player here. I was wondering what you get out of a guild. I read through the Wynncraft wiki page on guilds, and a short summary from me would go as follows...
To make a guild, you need to pay a bunch. Or you can get a recruiter from another guild to recruit you. You can dedicate a portion of your xp and emeralds to the guild, to help it. xp... gives you more space in the guild. Emeralds are used to defend territories, and territories give the guild stuff while people are in them. You can attack territories and take them for your own. Or you can use emeralds to, uh, upgrade your flag pedestals.
My main gripe with this is that you get nothing out of it. No matter how big your guild is, the only potential advantages you might have from having a big guild or being in a big guild is limited to better trading opportunity, or maybe being something to do after you've completed everything else in Wynncraft.
Will this be changed in a future update? Is there something I'm missing? Are guilds just dumb?

IDK, i just like the sense of attacking and defending territories And then you can get your guild to the top of the leaderboard and get fame :) or u can just hang out with people or you can ask people to help with quests .... I have felt Wynncraft got a bit more fun when I joined a guild

 

interact with guild mates and have stuff to do.

 

Being in a a guild is basically having one big group of friends/family. It's a great way to meet people. As far as its features of attacking and defending territories, those are completely for fun, or guild pride. I know there's a guild update coming soon, so maybe it'll bring more features that interest you
