Why is my emerald attack effect not showing?

My optifine particles are set to all, and my particles in wynncraft are set to unlimited.
i have tried with the attack effect on and off but no difference.

 

this happened to me too lol and only for my assassin class it worked in shaman and mage (btw mine was fire effect)

 

Of course it was a fire effect lol!

 

yeah lol i didnt even realise i was referencing myself

 

Meanwhile I have a bug where I equipped the fire attack effect and now I literally cannot remove it without it turning back on after /class or world switch. Even switching to another particle effect type doesn't work, and now I'm just stuck spewing fire from my weapons (except mage for some reason, their particles seem unaffected which is odd).

Between the attack effect issues and the player effects turning off randomly after enough class switches, I really wish they would look into these issues so I can actually use the cosmetics without having to hassle with them.

 

Attack effects are just jank in general really

 

2.0 seemed to break most attack effects where they straight up don't work at all for some classes. Can't imagine it's very high priority on the list of bugs that have yet to be addressed
