    Why are the chances setup for you to fail instead of succeed? Like it should be a 50/50 of stay the same or go higher or a 33/33/33 lower, stay, and raise

    It makes the higher tier horses more valuable and they are worth it when they are max level. Otherwise everyone would be riding on a white and what would be the point in that.

    yeah but ever since gavvel came out they have double in price coming close to the theoretical limit.

    This is due to emerald saturation of the market. Through a combination of farming in Gavel, high-level quests, and LE duping, the market has become incredibly saturated with emeralds, to the point where a level 30 weapon sells for 1 LE, and a black horse for 4.
