Why do forgery dungeons keep being bugged?

so idk if u have come across this problem but i have yesterday or day bfr me and my friend were doing forgery in infested pit boss fight it said u have to kill the statue for spiders to stop spawning so boss can spawn but we couldnt destroy the statue so we had to leave and bfr in the dungeon with garoth he wouldnt even spawn which ruined things again anyone know why?

they hit the fix lag button instead of the fix forgery button
