Why did I lost this cap?

    Im not in combat 81, and when I was in about 50, I got a Climbing Hat, but then after I changed it, Idk where it went, its a quest item and I need to for a mission, and only climbing hat can get to the place i need to be, but I already lost/throw it, and Fix Quest DOES NOT work for me, what can I do? is it possible to let admin give it back to me?
