Why are the servers still up?

Is there any reason why the wynncraft admins would keep the servers running in the current sitiation? There is an active well known dupe being exploited on accident or on purpuse by many people right now witch is horrible for the econnomie. But the biggest problem is that event more players are losing money from that glitch. I myself have "only" lost 1stx but there are people that have lost way more.
Is there any reason why the admins should not close the network, fix the bug in whatever time they need without that massive pressure and revert the network to before that situation?

 

I don't think admins want to deal with another repeat of the #Wynncraft situation on release when servers went down...I don't think anyone wants to deal with that again

 

mods are taking care of the situation and the current economy is being wrecked already without the dupe

closing the network is likely one of the worst things you can do, imagine shutting down the entire server just to tackle this one issue that you don't even know where to start at
